Good Points: Well shot Great soundtrack Powerful performances All in all, a masterpiece
Bad Points: If light entertainment is what you're looking for, avoid!
General comments: Watching Requiem For A Dream is about as intense a cinematic experience as you're ever going to experience. If you like to take something away from a film be it an idea, a different perspective on the world etc then this is the film for you. The general premise of the film is how addition can cause a spiral into depravity and despair but it is how the script, shooting, direction, editing, acting and soundtrack combine to create an experience you won't quickly forget that make this film a masterpiece.
