I have had my professional brush now for 3 years. Although not used it for several months as the battery will no longer charge. I kept meaning to work out how to open it up to see what type of replacement battery I need. I could not work it out so thought I would sear h online to find that it is useless and Oral b have not manufactured replacements. What??????? Would never have spent £200 on this had I known. I don't think of cleans any better than my partners £30 brush. I could have had… Read Full Review

I love my Triumph 9900 and have noticed that my teeth are much whiter now. I recommend buying the model without the smart guide as it is just a glorified timer which you only tend to use once. Also lookout for special deals on Boots where you can earn bonus points too… Read Full Review

I'll simply echo some other reviews on here. Yes, the product does a good job of cleaning your teeth. BUT, mine lasted only two and a half years before the rechargeable battery just died. Apparently this cannot be replaced and the whole unit needs to be binned. What a waste - of technology and money.

The brush is intentionally overpriced at £150+ then the retailer knocks the price down & Braun offer £15 discount but put in the small print proof of postage in not proof of receipt for the offer!!! I will not buy or recommend Braun products to anyone again as the company are a bunch of con-men. As for the brush it is probably as good as a Philips brush, but you are being ripped off with the price & offers also u can't replace the rechargeable battery, so what is it costing to run this… Read Full Review

I have had an Oral-B Triumph electric toothbrush for nearly three years now. It is by far and away the most expensive toothbrush I have ever owned and it does an execellent job of cleaning my teeth. The smart guide is a really useful add-on to help with the disipline of brushing for long enough each day. The is a big "But" however. Once the battery will not hold its charge you must throw the toothbrush away as Braun says the battery cannot be replaced. My battery started to loose it ability to… Read Full Review

I just got this brush 2 weeks ago.. It was the most expensive toothbrush I have ever purchased. But on clearance at CVS for $4.99, I think it was worth the cost.
So far, I already have improvement on the feel of my gums, and the teeth are noticeably whiter.. 5 stars on this purchase.. That is until I have to buy new brush heads.. ;))… Read Full Review

Firstly the pros:
It does provide an excellent clean and the small head reaches between the teeth.
Providing you use a good whitening toothpaste then you do get whiter teeth, certainly compared to manual brushing.
Battery charge indicator is extremely useful as are the timer, guide and pressure sensor but these do verge on the gimmicky really, I don't actually need an electrical device to count to 2 minutes for me, I'm an intelligent person. However, if you don't have dental discipline then… Read Full Review

I was given a Smart Oral B as a gift and i loved it. Apart from spending a fortune on all the different kinds of heads, it can become a little compulsive.
However, all that changed when just a little over the 2 year guarantee, my tooth brush died, it just no longer charges. I have spoken to customer services and apparently it seems my battery has come to the end of it's life expectancy. Once this happens, the whole unit is defunct. The dead battery can't be replaced, nor can you buy just… Read Full Review

I bought this oral B with smart guide 6 months ago. I really like it. the timer is great and you can stick it to the bathrom wall to check the 2 min timing guide. Before I got it I always used to not brush my teeth for long enough. I would definitely recommend and is worth paying extra for the smart guide timer… Read Full Review

Feels like going to the dentist every day. Cool LCD displays tells you which quadrant of the mouth you need to brush for an optimal result. it measures how much you press down on your teeth and tells you when to relax a little. The battery is long lasting. It even has microchips telling you when to change your toothbrush heads. I bought my Oral-B Triumph for $150 including free shipping which is a good price for those of us residing in Europe… Read Full Review

expensive, but you cant put a price on good teeth. It gives you 2 minutes to complete all 4 quadrants of your mouth, but I cant do it that fast! the outside are easy in 2 mins, then you have to do the insides and then the tops of all teeth... it takes me about 3.5 mins... but the smart guide gives me a cheeky wink… Read Full Review

Braun Oral-B Triumph - I asked the Dentist about some stains I had on my teeth. He said that they couldn't be removed. Not long after I bought a Braun Triumph Electric Toothbrush, as my old one had broken down. After a few weeks of using the Triumph polishing mode, I noticed that the stains were disappearing. Since then they have almost gone. I wonder what the Dentist will say? The gum massage is fantastic. After a few uses you can really feel the difference. They have a new type of brush which… Read Full Review

Well I have just been treated to 1 of these for my Birthday. I am used to leccy brushes and my 8500 has served me well but I wanted the Smartguide as it maybe a gimic but I like it. With the Braun half price sale, it was cheaper than my previous model and I have a lot more in the box plus the chance to try a new brush head that I hadn't seen before, the floss action head. The shape even though slightly fatter, is banana shape so easy to hold. I love the new posh storage and charging dock, thank… Read Full Review

This is a great toothbrush for the price. It does have a floss action head but this does not in anyway replicate flossing and you will still need to floss.
Heads are cheap and the cleaning is excellent on this brush. May not be great if you have crowded teeth. Check out the sonicare HX6982/03 and HX6982/10
Cheapest toothbrush seller and great advice if you have bleeding gums and bad breath?

The Braun Triumph electric toothbrush has floss action bristles that get in between your teeth. My hygienist was impressed when she didn't get anything from my teeth.
