    Good Points: It sews great, right out of the box. In fact, they left a string in the machine, so I just had to follow the string instead of trying to figure out the diagram.


    Bad Points: I had some problems figuring out the tension on the thing, and I was constantly adjusting it. So I called up the factory and talked to a guy who talked me through it. I can do the tension just fine now.


    General comments: I rated the Tippmann Industrial HS "The Boss" sewing machine a 5 on style because it's not a pretty machine, but it's one of those things where you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover. It's pretty light, but it'll sew every bit of the 3/4" of leather it's supposed to. It's not an electric sewing machine though--it's hand powered. Took a little getting used to, but I kind of like it now--you don't put a stitch where you don't want it.
