Good Points: Well, it's a classic gaming console, and it can be worth more than ever before!!

Bad Points: The graphics, and the fact that it has no memory card and keeps crashing. Need I say more?

General comments: I got given a Sega Megadrive 16 Bit games console when I was about 6 years old, and like many others I thought nothing of it, as it was the 'norm' at the time in about 1995, but I hadn't realised in roughly 10 to 15 years this would be a classic.

Yes, we have all been there, playing Street Fighter with Axel and his crew on rubbish 2D basic graphics, and beating up villains stage by stage. You can't disagree, it was rubbish, but no matter how much we kept telling our young minds this, it was pointless, we just kept on playing no matter whether the Sega Megadrive crashed or not. We would restart it in the hope it wouldn't crash again. It was totally addictive. So, for the next 5 hours we would sit in our imaginary bubble, kicking, punching and hitting people over the head, just for fun! Over and over again, because the damn thing crashed at the last stage.

By the time I was 10 I was going around thinking I was Axel from Street Fighter, and everyone was the bad guy, which was the clear and first incidents of Video Games corrupting kids minds!!

Back to the point; the Sega Megadrive was the starting point for me and loads others, of a gaming lifestyle. Forget about 360's, PS3's or Wi-Fi's, they follow Sega and Sonic The Hedgehog.

So, if you can still get hold of one of these gaming graphics disasters/classic gaming consoles, get it, because it will be worth it. Hey, you might just play it yourself!!
