Good Points: The Wharfedale DV832BN Freeview box has a great picture, fabulous sound quality,and is easy to set-up, and it has a neat design.
Bad Points: Although a good machine, I had to buy another Freeview box as the remote of my Philips TV affected the Wharfedale box - pressing a button on the TV remote would change the channel on the box. Also, despite excellent sound quality, the sound would occasionally cut out for a second or so, (a problem that did not occur with the replacement Humax box).
General comments: This is a good quality machine and, despite one or two issues, is excellent value-for-money. The Wharfedale DV832BN Freeview box has a great picture, fabulous sound quality,and is easy to set-up, and it has a neat design.

This is quite a large silver set top box which an LCD display showing clock and function. I wish I had realised that it has exactly the same remote control as the Bush DFTA11 before I bought it. They must be the same machine as the set up display and functions are exactly the same. It did not pick up all the channels although I have a fairly new digital aerial and am in a fully compatible area. I couldn't get any ITV channels (not even ITV1) nor Channel 4. I am now going to have my father's Sony ...

Excellent bit of kit, good instructions included with the Wharfedale DV832BN (but easy to set up anyway)

The Wharfedale DV832BN freeview box is good value for money, as it's only £29.99 at Argos. And what better store to buy from, although the 16 day return policy doesn't apply. You won't want to take it back anyway.
