Good Points: Very fast access to the internet for me.
Bad Points: Unreliable. Had lots of hitches in my case. Not all customer service assistants knew what to do in my opinion.
General comments: I wait with baited breath to see if there is going to be a problem. Even getting through on the phone has been difficult for me. Tonight I could access the internet but not madasafish main site? Why? When it works it is great! And to those persistent assistants who guided me through the laborious task of completely unregistering and re-registering my broadbant. I do not recommend madafish.com as an internet provider.

I signed up for a free email address a decade ago. It was a good service so when they started to charge a yearly fee for the IP address, I never changed. Then Madasafish took over and I was more impressed. Since BT have taken over my email service regularly fails and the website is also unobtainable. The service centre claims to known nothing. This is typical BT so if you are planning on getting broadband through them I would warn against it since you will be without any internet connection when ...

I lost email for 2 days. Customer services responded within a couple of hours but claim there is no problem as they can route emails from their internal mail to my mail. Do not recommend Madafish.com

I was previously with freenetname, had no problems when they were taken over with madasafish I tried to change my payments to another account, they then started taking money from both accounts, after some frustrating telephone calls to their call center with people who I had trouble understanding the issue was not resolved, it is still not resolved 6 months later as far as I am concerned and they have never passed me to someone who could assist in my opinion.
They have canceled my line and have ...

Good information re set up.
All bits arrived on time.
Connection stays stable.
Signed up based on good reviews, however admin service seems to have gone down hill since BT take over.
No problems with system availability.
Therefore I do recommend madafish.com

We signed up to Madasafish Broadband MAX & Talk Anytime a few months ago.
Broadband has worked consistently - our first experience so little to compare it to speed wise - we're at the end of a long line too.
Overall satisfaction? 9/10.
Well recommend...

Personally I won €™t be staying with madasafish after my contract an end as I think they don €™t offer unlimited downloads. The best they can offer is 50 GB download usage for £30 a month which is not very good. If they would offer better deals then I would be happy to continue using them as my isp.

I was with freenetname and had no problems with them. Then they were taken over by Madasafish and that was ok too. But BT have recently taken over and now the service drops maybe 2-3 times a day (seems fine overnight when I'm not on the pc!). Coincidence? Don't know. I have been given advice but it all involves testing whether the connection stays up while my phone is not connected - I would need to leave it at least a day or two to be certain it was stable. I would recommend their customer ser ...

I was previously with another for several years and they truly were the ISP from Hell.
I switched to Madasafish and have been really satisfied; excellent download speeds, great uptime, customer support that has real people that answer the phone quickly and good price plans.
Very pleasing, let's hope it stays that way.

I checked around, and all the (former) bright view ISPs were rated well - Madasafish, Waitrose etc.
BT was a slightly cheaper deal, but they insist you pay by direct Debit, and I didn't want to.
Tossed a coin and picked Madasafish.
No regrets so far. Service speed is pretty good - I get about 5.5Mb on my "max 8Mb" connection.
Even the cheap wireless router has only needed a reset 3 times in 6 months.

I was with Orange until the middle of October 2007 and just got fed up with appalling customer service (being kept on hold for twenty minutes a time) and intermittent connections speeds. Sometimes I'd have 0.3 meg on an 8 meg connection. As soon as I plugged in with Madasafish I did a speed test and got 6.2 meg. So much for 'problems with the exchange' and 'we'll do a line test'! I've phoned them twice (because I made a mistake on the set-up) and have got straight through to technical support. I ...

Overall I am highly satisfied with Madasafish but time will tell if this continues. From all the tales my friends have told me about other Broadband suppliers I think I have had an easy and successful start up.

I have kept my line rental with BT as all ISPs I have had dealings with don't seem to help quickly with line faults. However, btinternet has now taken over Madasafish. Is this good? Time will tell.

I am counting days till my contract finishes with Madasafish.
Broadband- unreliable
For 5 months I had no broadband approximately 30% of the time.
Customer service- unsatisfactory
It would take 2-3 days for the fault to be escalated. In 5 months- more than 20 phone calls made regarding broadband absence.
Only when considering leaving the company - 5 months later - that was BT asked to act on the faulty line.
At that point paying £85.00 for cancellation was cheaper than to stay with t ...

The one time they had a serious fault they sent an explanation and apology the next day to all customers! Imagine an ISP admitting they had a fault! BT, Orange, Virgin, Sky, look and learn how to run a broadband service - FOR THE CUSTOMER!

I think that was the least hassle I've ever had setting up an internet account - everything worked straight out of the box, and the connection has been really solid, and as fast as they said it would be.
