“They are History”

I've been with Madasafish for years (from the days when they were FreeNetName.) Things were okay ... until they were absorbed by PlusNet / BT. Since then, customer service is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!! They now take 45min to answer a customer call....& beware of the 0844 charges! They are incredibly slow to answer 'tickets' They have failed to complete my broadband transfer for a recent house move. “Don't Bother”

Have been with Madasafish for some years now. I get timed out every 10 mins and having to relog on, spentlots of expensive time talking to customer support .Having to relog on every 10 mins is nothing but a pain, have spent a fortune on engineers checking my system. “7 years of good service”

I transferred my broadband to Madasafish in 2005 and apart from a couple of short lived outages have had rock solid service throughout that time. I'm certainly surprised by the comments regarding the customer service and technical support staff as my limited contact with them has always been productive and stress free. “Basically a scam”

As already said; this company is little more than an outright scam in my opinion. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR CLUTCHES!! I'd been with them for broadband from the outset and was happy to overlook their many failings - until BT took them over and their service became nothing but a joke. Madasafish is one of those nasty companies that try to cheat you on every corner. They offer nice deals to lure people in but then, their support is simply non-existent. “I've had a Just Mail account with a .co.uk domain for...”

I've had a Just Mail account with a .co.uk domain for 6 years. The pop3 response got very slow and with the 100MB size limit the value for money had dropped to low. The customer service to transfer my domain name was slow and extortionately expensive £20! for something that Nominet charges £10 to Joe public. To close my account needed 15 min's on a 0844 number. I have been with Madasafish for at least 5 years and not had too many problems, until I tried to close my account.

I phoned them and arranged a disconnection date, giving the required notice. The final payment was taken and I was told that was all. This was 6 weeks ago now and since then they have taken funds from my bank account as if I was still using their service. Not a bad data service but, customer service & biling is terrible. They billed me incorrectly 4 months running after I upgraded to 20gb service from 5gb. Used to be a good company but now been cursed by BT and is a pile of sh*t. Indifferent and obtuse customer service and frankly I will now be glad to see the back of them. Dare say there will be all sorts of grief when I leave but they have now proven to me that they do not want me as a customer. Ditto BT when I move onto Talk Talk. “Absolutely horrific. Been a customer for two years,...”

Absolutely horrific. Been a customer for two years, problems for a month with disconnections. Very poor customer support, no clue what they were talking about. Sent a new router- said it was free of charge. Problems continued. I decided to move providers, they send the final bill and charged £35 for the router. Am complaining and fighting. They are also known as Plus net dn Global broadband I think.

I was with Madasafish from the very start. It was OK until October 2009, it went so far downhill that I had to change. Six months of line dropouts, really slow speeds and sometimes days with no internet access. Constant "we are working on the problem" responses. Enough was enough and my loyalty (twelve years!!) was shot. I moved to The Post Office. Instant excellent speeds (around 5M) an unlimited download AND my phone and line rental for LESS than Madasafish charged JUST for their internet… Read Full Review

Were quite good up until a couple of years ago but they don't appear to have developed the service at all. When I cancelled due to elevated price for very little, and after they I had received and activated my MAC code, they continued to attempt to take payment for the next two months. Luckily had cancelled direct debit. When the service worked it was ok, but slow broadband compared to my BT connection now. Dreadful, rude, and condescending customer service. They try to charge extra if they think they can get away with it. You have to fight to get fair treatment, and I am SO fed up with them! Also much more expensive for less.
