Beware I have had a very bad experience with this company!! Total rip off and the person in customer service gets 1 out 0f 100!!! They take your money for a holiday, then they ring back to say that the flights have changed from the afternoon to 6am!! Losing one day’s holiday and because we wanted to cancel and pick another holiday they charged us £60 for the privilege….. What a rip off!! I can only presume that BOOKABLE HOLIDAYS drink a lot of Horlicks at bed time?

When i agree to take the holiday the "usual extras were added which i expected to some degree. What cheesed me of was that at the final cost was stated it did not match the invoice.I was overcharged by twelve pounds. This was admitted after bookable holidays had listened to the verbal transaction.A small amount you may think but i suspect this is a common guise how many people check the invoice to the verbal agreement ? .My advise is to write down the final cost of the holiday and ask the dealer to confirm this and then check against the final cost ask to include ALL the cost inc card charges rip off etc

Turned out to be a 3 star complex. Beds were old with springs sticking out. The bed linen was old and worn. Furniture in the room was old and worn. Good spread of food but the meat( chops, fish, chicken etc) were always over cooked and firm.the chefs just cooked and thre it on the container. Entertainment was porridge and amateurish! Pizza and chips were popular.the Internet connection was slow and useless. Viewed the 4star across the road and that was completely different and classy. A poor experience and would not go there again paid too much for this holiday.

I had to pay an extra 140 Euro's for a Gala dinner on a New Year skiing holiday which was not mentioned at time of booking. When trying to contact Bookable Holidays I was held on the phone until I gave up. No reply to e-mail or a recorded delivery letter when I tried to recover the money. Very prompt reply with settlement in full when I issued a small claims. I will be fair and say the holiday which was booked three days before going on the 26/12/11 all ran smoothly.

What appeared at first to be a bargain holiday was ruined by the fall of Goldtrail even though we had been of the mind that our holiday was a package.
I was uncomfortable doing all transactions over the phone with emails only returned after posting an on-line contact request. Our holiday was booked for August 2010 with Goldtrail going into receivership in July 2010. Thankfully we have just received a cheque for our money paid less £240 administration fees (ouch!)
Bookable would waver this cost had we have booked another holiday with them but to be honest when booking on-line (or over the phone) you need assurances that your best interests are being served.

I booked a holiday in June 2010, which was advertised as Kos 5 star, showing the Iberostar Panorama in the advert. I know how expensive Iberostar can be so I double-checked that it was with them and I was told that I could ask for the Iberostar Maris and it appeared on our booking confirmation. When we arrived, we were allocated to the 4 star Kipriotis chain, the Hippocrates. Somebody else paid 200 euros to move to Iberostar. There was no way that we could ever have gone to the Maris on our booking, they are not the same chain. Another couple were placed in the Maris as the Hippocrates was full, and were told that apart from sleeping, everything else had to be done in the Hippocrates, even their safety box.
I contacted Bookable Holidays and got a fast reply saying that the person was taking personal responsibility for this - and then nothing else for over 2 weeks despite repeated replies. Their customer service stinks. I work in a service role, and my manager would not be happy if I worked like that.
On the positive side, the holiday was very cheap (£1160 for two weeks two people, all inclusive), the Hippocrates staff and facilities were good, but the food was nowhere near the Iberostar quality.
I don't feel like giving them any more business.

Also caught in volcano fallout and managed to make my own way home (2 days with costs out of my own pocket).
I tried to speak to admin support, no answer and have also emailed, no answer.
I'm sure they are extra busy with the extensive problems created by the very unexpected volcano eruption but just want to know who I claim my money back from, them or Ryanair - simple question!!
Also San Remo, San Antonio Bay booked for all inclusive week hol but was not advised of the 'Ibiza White Experience' event for approx. 1,000 spanish youths 19 to 23 - created 4 days of hell!!! Also food chronic, very basic, if it wasn't for the chips and bread we may have starved! Meat was awful.

Back in September booked a ski holiday to Sol in Austria for this coming January for a group of 13 back. Sales guy James sounded professional and found a great deal with accommodation along with a special offer deal of buy one get one free ski pass. Paid the deposit and waited for the confirmation. After 4 weeks I had to contact him as I had heard nothing, to which an apology was given and the confirmation was sent. On receiving confirmation noticed that there was no mention of the ski extras. E mailed James who assured me that everything was fine and the invoice confirming the extras would follow shortly. Heard nothing until a representative from their company contacted me requesting payment for the holiday. I explained that I would not pay up until I had received full confirmation of the deal in black and white!. She agreed to forward the confirmation with the extras on. Confirmation arrived but no mention of special ski offers along with the details being incorrect. Spoke to another rep and had to explain the situation, couldn't give me an answer. After a number of phone calls and e mails, another confirmation has followed...... guess what a copy of the original showing ten ski passes for a group of thirteen and no mention of special offers. Rang them again and awaiting their reply....Friday 28th November. Our holiday is only six weeks away and I have still failed to get the full holiday confirmed buy Bookable...... My advice to anyone thinking of using this company... DON'T

i am supposed to fly on the 10.09.09 and i rang Bookable Holidays 8 days before i was supposed to fly as they told me tickets would have been here 10 days before i flew!!!!! well as u probably guessed they didn't i spoke to 3 different people and they all passed the book and couldn't be bothered to do their job however i was told they could arrive 5 or 7 days so i waited 5 days still no tickets i rang them n i was on hold for 20mins with a very annoying automated voice message that kept repeating their website!!! so i thought i would email them with my problem within the guaranteed 15 mins a i got an email saying they were doing their best to resolve my issue and would get back to me by the latest the end of the day.....and no surprise they didn't it also stated not to email them again or to ring them as this can slow down the process?? so im no stuck waiting for them to pull their fingers out still with no tickets or any information for my transfers!! i would never for as long as i live book with this joke of a company who just fob u off at any chance they get call centre of the year 2005?? i don't think so!!
