    This was my second visit to Alanya in Turkey...First year I booked through Thomas Cook....and felt preasured throughout the holiday to spend more ....
    Although I had quite a few reservations about booking and paying for a holiday online and only having a sheet of A4 to show that a holiday existed......I was pleasantly surprised......The holiday ran without a hitch.........from getting on the plane to transfers on smart minibus (no hanging around for major operators coach to fill up).. to hotel to everything....Speaking to other guests.....we had, by far landed the cheapest holiday in the hotel......I had a few worries about having to phone the airline (onur air) and transfer company 2 days before return......but was worrying for nothing........just a couple of local charge calls to friendly english speaking guys and return journey sorted..Am booking this years holiday through bookableholidays.

    i booked with this company in oct 2008 and paid in full for a holiday in feb 2009. a week before the holiday they phoned me and tried to change the dates and the airport for the holiday. we couldn't make the change so cancelled. I had to take them to court to get my money back (moneyclaim online - dead easy £60 costs added to the claim + interest). they sent me the original fee when the claim was issued but not the costs or intest.     Avoid this company like the plague. This is the worst travel agent imaginable.

    Unfortunately I booked a ski holiday through them. As soon as I got off the phone I found out they had sold me a First Choice package holiday £114 dearer than I could have bought myself directly online. I immediately phoned back and was told in no uncertain terms they could not care less, and I'd "better" pay the rest of the holiday price within 3 days or I would lose my £300 deposit (paid by credit card ...

    I just wanted to warn others against using Bookable holidays... I phoned them up yesterday to make a booking (before reading reviews on them foolishly on my part) and I was appalled at their customer service and the attitude of the person I spoke to. Not only did he repeatedly talk over me, not offer me any extras, or show any interest at all in my needs, he then called me back and ask me to give him my FULL secure password for my bank account - DODGY!!!     We booked for Tunisa for November 2009, booking was easy and hotel was as described, all in all a good holiday.... until things went wrong. The paperwork specifying the day and date of return travel was incorrect, and we had to get an emergency taxi to the airport and buy a return flight as there was no flights back to the UK on the day Bookable holidays had specified on our tickets.     Very rude after sales customer service, advice on room type's very misleading as we were described a fare superior room to the one we had, as on the booking confirmation it says sup/dlx. In which apparently it's either one or the other that is booked, Firstly A. that wasn't an option when we spoke about the room as all was said we would have a superior deluxe room, not one or the other and B.     The service is disgusting and they rip you off and supply no holiday. They cant be bothered to answer the phones or pay you back. I booked this holiday as a package holiday and then I discovered I was flying with Easyjet, so I thought I would make the best of it and go, it cost over 2,000 pounds for 3 of us for holiday. On Friday 18th December flights were all cancelled at Gatwick, Easyjet to refund 1,200 pounds. Bookable Holidays not going to give me the remainder back of over 700 pounds. ...

    I have only given one star because I can't give zero. I wish I had done my research. I have had a terrible experience from start to finish and would never ever recommend them to anyone, even my worst enemy. In fact I wouldn't travel with them again even if it was free. They are fraudsters. Great to deal with to book, impossible after that when they send you out wrong details (omitting stuff you have paid for like transfers, insurance) and you just can't talk to anyone at all.     i recentley booked a holiday with bookable holidays,the yong man i spoke to was extremley witty and humorous,and made my booking run very smoothly.
    not only did we have a fantastic holiday,but the price was very competitive.
    we will defanatley book with bookable again!!
    lets hope we get the same clerk...highly recomended

    Have just returned from my 4th holiday booked through Bookable Holidays and can honestly say that I have only ever found them first class to deal with.

    The sales staff are very helpful in finding the right holiday for you regardless of your budget, their prices are extremely competitive and the after sales care is the best I have ever experienced.

    Dont let these negative travellers put you off booking with Bookable!

    Back in September booked a ski holiday to Sol in Austria for this coming January for a group of 13 back. Sales guy James sounded professional and found a great deal with accommodation along with a special offer deal of buy one get one free ski pass. Paid the deposit and waited for the confirmation.     I had a terrible experience with Bookable Holidays, but I feel I need to say that I am satisfied with the result of my dispute (although it needed some perseverence).

    I had an issue with the cost of extras and asked them to justify them. In the end, they couldn't to offered up a goodwill gesture of £30, which I declined. After a few more calls, they offered all of their profit for the booking and an apology for a misleading sale, which I accepted gratefully.

    Bookable Holidays are simply dishonest and fraudulent. They took more money than agreed from my bank account over the phone and despite contacting them to have it put right they simply don't care. Once they have the money they couldn't care less about the "customer". Customer service is something they simply neither know about or care about. Trying to contact them is the biggest nightmare, 30-40 mins on hold, with promisies of action and calls back but never a word. Not only don't they care ...

    I will NEVER use Bookable Holidays again.
    Excellent when booking, great customer service - COMPLETELY impossible to get hold of afterwards when I received my e-tickets and they did not indicate which terminal I was flying from at Gatwick. Been holding on the phone for 30 minutes at a time, finally given up completely stressed out, going to call Gatwick airport and find out from them instead.
    And thats BEFORE we've even left!!

    Bookable Holidays is a disreputable and untrustworthy company, and I strongly recommend that you don't book with them. My boyfriend and I had a disastrous holiday to Crete booked with them in August 2009, during which our hotel was downgraded and we spent two nights in an inferior resort. Bookable also took more money than the agreed price from my bank account when I paid over the phone.

    it was the most smooth booking i have ever experienced with Bookable Holidays i would definetly use again and have recommended to everyone i met thank you for fantastic holiday the kids went snorkling and my son passed his scuba diving cert

    I booked a holiday to Turkey end August 2009. Bookable Holiday were competitively priced and were quick to take my money. However, if you require any aftersales service, you'll get nowhere. Never again
