    I had a terrible experience with Bookable Holidays, but I feel I need to say that I am satisfied with the result of my dispute (although it needed some perseverence).

    I had an issue with the cost of extras and asked them to justify them. In the end, they couldn't to offered up a goodwill gesture of £30, which I declined. After a few more calls, they offered all of their profit for the booking and an apology for a misleading sale, which I accepted gratefully.

    Advice: before you commit, confirm that you accept the extras they add at time of booking. Mine increased the price 20%(!!!) athough I ended up getting most back.

    Bookable Holidays are simply dishonest and fraudulent. They took more money than agreed from my bank account over the phone and despite contacting them to have it put right they simply don't care. Once they have the money they couldn't care less about the "customer". Customer service is something they simply neither know about or care about. Trying to contact them is the biggest nightmare, 30-40 mins on hold, with promisies of action and calls back but never a word. Not only don't they care ...

    I will NEVER use Bookable Holidays again.
    Excellent when booking, great customer service - COMPLETELY impossible to get hold of afterwards when I received my e-tickets and they did not indicate which terminal I was flying from at Gatwick. Been holding on the phone for 30 minutes at a time, finally given up completely stressed out, going to call Gatwick airport and find out from them instead.
    And thats BEFORE we've even left!!

    Bookable Holidays is a disreputable and untrustworthy company, and I strongly recommend that you don't book with them. My boyfriend and I had a disastrous holiday to Crete booked with them in August 2009, during which our hotel was downgraded and we spent two nights in an inferior resort. Bookable also took more money than the agreed price from my bank account when I paid over the phone.

    it was the most smooth booking i have ever experienced with Bookable Holidays i would definetly use again and have recommended to everyone i met thank you for fantastic holiday the kids went snorkling and my son passed his scuba diving cert

    i am supposed to fly on the 10.09.09 and i rang Bookable Holidays 8 days before i was supposed to fly as they told me tickets would have been here 10 days before i flew!!!!! well as u probably guessed they didn't i spoke to 3 different people and they all passed the book and couldn't be bothered to do their job however i was told they could arrive 5 or 7 days so i waited 5 days still no tickets i rang them n i was on hold for 20mins with a very annoying automated voice message that kept repeatin ...

    its 3rd of september 2009 im going away on the 6th which is sunday still havnt recived my tickets sent many of emails only got 2 days to have post delivery will never ever book with these people ever again when you phone them its always 17 mins waiting for some one to answer they are polite but still doesnt pay my phone bill trieng to get hold of them. wonder if im going on hols in 3 days booked for 7 people no discount offerd annoying company to book with please read all reviews before you book ...

    I booked a holiday to Turkey end August 2009. Bookable Holiday were competitively priced and were quick to take my money. However, if you require any aftersales service, you'll get nowhere. Never again

    i sincerely hope that anyone considering booking through, bookable holidays reads this before they book...

    two years ago i had a disastrous experience booking through this company (and i see from the previous posts that i am not alone). without going into the details the holiday was incredibly stresseful and the company was a joke and should not be operating.

    Superb travel agent, had a great holiday with bookable holidays, confirmation arrived the day after I booked and the tickets arrived two weeks before I travelled. Very professional company to deal with on all levels and very knowledgable staff. Great booking process all round, will use them again.

    Tickets did not arrive until two days before travel left on hold for over 20 minutes every time we telephoned e mails were not replied to. there is no customer services if you have a problemwould not use them again. One month later and have still not been able to talk to customer services. Would not use bookable holidays again.

    Booked a last minute deal with Bookable Holidays and all I can say is that they are a greant and very professional company to deal with. Tickets arrived and when I called them to ask a couple of questions the call was answered straight away and dealt with extremely well. I am definately recommending them to friends and family and am also in the process of booking my ski holiday with them to.
    I am glad that at last I have found a travel agent who i can trust.

    I go on holiday on Sunday and still no tickets have arrived. Phoned on monday for Bookable Holidays to say to me 'oh, by the way, you're flight times have chaged'. Ridiculous company. I stay nowhere near Reading so I don't have the opportunity to drive there and deal with it in person. Never again.

    I have booked with BOOKABLE HOLIDAYS twice before and all was well. However this time I needed the after sales service and that is were all my knighmares began.

    With 7 weeks to go I needed a name change and a refund as they had taken an extra unauthorised £350 from my credit card.
    In the subsequent 4 weeks I sent;

    - One letter to head office
    - 5 emails
    - 2 phone calls were I was actually connected after 22/25 minutes on hold.
    - 1 phone call were I was on hold and gave up after 37 minutes ...

    Have been trying for two days solid to get through to someone, ANYONE at Bookable Holidays. We too are supposed to be going to Turkey in a months time, they changed our flights a couple of weeks ago and we have had no revised confirmations for the flights, accommodation and transfers. Their customer service is simply appalling, we are on the point of getting some legal advice.

    I booked a holiday with bookable holidays for a week in cyprus for me and my partner, when paying the holiday off over the phone i had great difficulty getting though, i managed to get though to the sales office where i gave all my bank details to the lady on the phone, a week later when calling back again to pay the final payment, they told me the last payment never went though, The girl who i had spoken to never put my payment though and left my BANK DETAILS on her desk for a week whilst off s ...

    Cannot complain about the holiday itself because we had a great time but would never book with Bookable Holidays again. We got our tickets e-mailed to us less than 48 hours before we went. They had changed the flight times and airline without letting us know! I phoned them 3 times and e-mailed them 4 times and never got any straight answers. 55 minutes i was on the phone on one occasion before they answered. My advice, go with a reputable travel agent. Its a lot less hassle!

    great difficulty getting tickets for holiday booked with bookable holidays, causing conern as tickets for honeymoon. even getting left on phone for twenty minutes at a time listening to some music wasn't helpful!

    I booked two months in advance with Bookable Holidays, to go on holiday, and find that a couple have got the same deal as us, but £200 cheaper!!! we receieved no discount as a booking for 6 people. When we got to the hotel, we found that the agent had booked the wrong rooms, and had booked a room with 2 single beds for 3 people! their phone queues are terribly long, also i receieved my flight ticket one day before i was due to fly out! terrible company!! never ever again!
