Just got back from a 4 day break with family at Camber Sands Park Resorts....first impressions were ok.....nowhere to park when you check in, staff ok, young and inexperienced in customer care....Our caravan was a Gold, the fixtures and fittings were good but the cleanliness of the place was absolutely terrible...felt unclean the whole time we were there.
Swimming pool ok, split into sections with a flume and water rapids which were great fun, however as with the park itself no care has been tak ...

Arrived on site Saturday 8 August 2009, was shocked at how untidy it looked, then i visited the toilet blocks which were absolutely disgusting they were filthy and smelly this was the case for the rest of the week. The showers were terrible and going off all the time. Many other touring guests were also complaining. The entertainment was good and the pool was very nice but i will not be going to Park Resorts, Camber Sands again.

Just got back from a visit to Park Resorts Camber Sands resort and was pleasantly surprised. It is a large caravan park with enough to keep you and your family entertained for a long weekend. The pool is great fun for both adults and children even if it is a one in one out system. The evening entertainment was good for kids not that good for adults but with a large seating area. The chalet we stayed in was very nice, clean, newly refurbed and with comfortable beds. We ate at the on site restaura ...

Spent a week at Camber end of July and had a fabulous week with my family. We went for a fun, relaxing, no thrills break and that's exactly what we got. Granted the camping facilities are a little rough around the edges but anyone who is looking for luxury pristine ensuites all round comfort and a silent zone surely would not be booking a budget camp site! I think in a nutshell... you get what you pay for... and like Sam40 says... 'its what you make it'
Uptight 'OCDers' need not apply here.

We also went to Camber Sands on a touring pitch and returned the 2nd August and I am a little confused to robandkaren comments we had a fantastic holiday it was the best weather of the year without a doubt which helped a holiday is what you make it and not what you expect everyone else to do for you. It was a cheap week and my family had a fab time, ok the facilities were not 5 star but you know this when you camp. It was a good family complex with the beach just outside the site which was beaut ...

I have visited two Park Resorts camps, including Camber Sands and I will NEVER visit another one. Park Resorts from the brochure considers itself a family holiday specialist but in my opinion the value for money I got didn't line up with that, neither did the customer service.
Our holiday with Park Resorts was a poor experience!

We have just returned from a week staying at Camber Sands.

We hired a private caravan (via eBay) and was disgusted with the state of it. It was advertised as a Gold Standard caravan, but it was dirty, the appliances did not work, it seemed the sheets had not been changed (there was a urine stain on one sheet!) and it was an old caravan. I would definitely only ever book through Park Resorts in future as at least you can complain and move to a new caravan if necessary!

The kids loved the entert ...

Where shall I start, booked touring pitch, we informed them that we have a disabled child and would need to be close to the toilet block, NEVER HAPPENED, we informed them that we have a larger caravan and that we are new to touring, given small pitch which was extremely difficult to get on. Warden left us to get our selves onto pitch. Pitch was 5 yards from noisy main road only separated by barbed wire fence!!! There was no order to the pitch. People where crammed in everywhere and at all angle ...

I have just returned from a 5 day break at Camber Sands with my Mum and three kids and I am so glad to be home! The park was dirty, bleak and poorly maintained. One set of communal toilets had vomit all up the wall and our caravan was so dirty we had to clean it when we arrived! The entertainment was dull and boring, the on site facilities were expensive and poor and the staff were few and very unhelpful.
I feel I have wasted nearly £400.00 and I will never go to a Park resorts camp again ...

I went to Park Resorts, Camber Sands last August 2006. We booked into a touring pitch and paid in advance. We simply could not believe what awaited us. The place was an absolute dump and it was packed to the absolute rafters. The pitch we were allocated was a muddy hole, very little grass and also very stony. It has been raining and the cars have really churned up the ground. There were kids that looked no older that 12 swigging beer out of bottles and looking menacing. We refused the pitch we ...
