    The Pure One FM/DAB radio is so good I bought a further two for other rooms after I had experienced the first.

    Their sound quality definitely belies their size and they are at their most versatile when operating on the optional rechargeable battery pack. The battery lasts a respectable time but they do take about 24 hours to recharge and bizarrely have to be in an environment that is above 21 degrees centigrade when doing so or they do not charge.

    Another weakness is the operation of the presets where everything except volume and power on/off has to be completed through several button operations - e.g changing to a preset channels requires a button press then turning the main knob until the required channel is reached. I would much prefer some old fashioned 'one touch' buttons for channel presets.

    Simple to use, auto tunes, loads of presets. Looks and sounds nice I love mine...and talk sport too..

    It would be great if it was more sturdy and reliable.I've had two of Pure One DAB Radios and both broke within one year.
    Very disappointing in this respect and certainly not sturdy enough for busy family life where radios are not always treated kindly.
    The second one got knocked over just fell on its side)and knocked the tuning knob out of position so now it is difficult to move the knob easily.

    A well designed, budget DAB radio - sound is clear & crisp for the price & it has lots of pre-sets. Available in 3 colours the only real downside is the rate it uses batteries but it can be plugged in
