    Good Points: This eMail service is completely free, generally easy to configure and use, and is normally reasonably reliable, or so has been my experience of it for the past couple of years.


    Bad Points: Hmmm, is this a bad point, or maybe a good point? They don't seem to do ANY filtering of Spam at all, and you could see quite a bit hit your mailbox.
    I would point out, though, that I DON'T believe ANY of it comes from THEM, more from other places from where the eMail address has been harvested, but I sorta expected this as I specifically use these addresses to avoid having to use my ISP ones.
    Of late, and this is at least a DISCONCERTING point, if not necessarily a BAD point, the service has not been quite as reliable ... every so often, for periods of minutes, hours, or even a day at a time, the NerdShack POP3 servers, at least, seem to go down, and you cannot access waiting mail.
    I am NOT sure whether that means it also cannot be delivered from the source point.


    General comments: Well, Nerd Shack is a completely FREE service, and they have NEVER pestered me to JOIN ANYTHING, so it serves my purposes without giving me the irrits.
    Any problems I have had with the service, I choose to wear, because after all, what do you really expect completely for free anyway?
