    Good Points: This hostel is a fantastic place, the staff are really friendly, it's clean (the rooms are cleaned everyday). There's a patio on the back where most people sit and congregate and have a drink at night, great place to meet your fellow travellers. Situated on the main street of ob with shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and the beach on your doorstep. Breakfast served every morning, bbq's or some sort of food served free 2 nights a week. Surfboards, bikes for hire, sometimes day trips to Mexico organised. Free wireless internet and cheap internet access for those without a laptop. And of course, cheap room rates.


    Bad Points: Getting woken up by house cleaning at 12 noon each day if you've had a bit of a hard night at the bars the night before. For those staying a long time, you need to check out every 28 days for one night then check back in.


    General comments: Overall, Ocean Beach International Hostel a fantastic place to be based, fantastic staff, great place to meet new friends (I've met many great new friends). I was there for just over 4 weeks earlier in the year, it was so good I go back on the 25th august 2008 for another 44 days!! If you stay anywhere in San Diego, this is the place to be!!
