Good Points: Ease of use
Bad Points: Too many gremlins - freezes constantly, very temperamental sometimes works but often does not perform.
General comments: Bought 4 of the Sharp TU-R160H machines as presents and have had to return 3 of them as they are riddled with faults - freezing up, not recording when programmed to do so, `phantom` recordings, switching recording days, the problems are too numerous and varied to mention as all these machines seem to have a mind of their own! Think Sharp should have perfected this model before unleashing it to the public, shame really because on the rare occasions they did work correctly the simplicity of use would have gained them a gold star.

The Sharp TU-R160H Personal Video Recorder has 160gb of recording memory and two digital tuners giving you the ability to record one channel whilst watching another. Although the front panel is stylish it is a basic machine without all the extra features.
