    Good Points: Well established company with excellent customer service
    Maps are clear and with the new addition of updates to download (automatically ) via tom tom home on pc easier to stay current


    Bad Points: Occasionally for no apparent reason can say turn around when possible, despite this being uneccesary and at times the odd glitch but nothing to worrying all tEchnology has its quirks oH and be warned at 2gb broadband it takes hours to download(4)


    General comments: I have used tom tom on an ipaq for 3 years started with tom tom 3 for pda and then bought extra maps etc and added speeed cameras from alternative site ,I upgraded the package last week with all the new roads ,one map for all of western europe etc I also bought the tom tom package of speed cameras and was amazed to get all of europe not just uk'I can say over the last wek i have neded to visit somw weird and wonderful locations in some extremelly rural areas and tom tom found them all especially with the postcode system.You ned to remember that while it may tell you to go straight on at a road junction that it is so easy to follow the instruction and not stop first to check traffic...All in all tom tom is as far as i am concerned the best package to buy off the shelf and as long as you make sure it is taken out of the car you will be able to hold on to it. Only wish they would do an african main routes version
