I tried to book a table at San Remo, Denton for my wife and I on Saturday; we were unable to get anyone to answer the phone number posted on the restaurants website. We decided to go there in the hope of being able to reserve a table at some point that evening. Although the restaurant was almost empty (4 people) we stood at the door for an uncomfortable amount of time before any of the staff bothered to approach us. I asked "do you have a table for two" I was told in no uncertain terms that "We are fully booked for the evening". "I'm sorry sir we are fully booked for the evening" would have been much nicer.
I find that rather rude and will not embarrass myself by visiting San Remo Restaurants at any time in the near future.

I have been to San Remo on several occasions and think the food is absolutly delicious. The Italian chef is back and now you can taste the freshness of the food and it does really taste like home cooking. the service is fantastic, and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommended.

Im crazy over italian food, but after eating at San Remo restaurant i was put off by the Chef screaming and shouting at a young lady in the kitchens. I found this very disturbing and uncomfortable eating my meal with friends. I will not be dining there again!!! very unsatisfactory service!!!

    Very Very dissapointing!!!!

I would go again any day at any time. We went twice last week! Their pasta's are the best, my favourite ever. Peppercorn steak, the best steak my Dad's ever tasted. Pizza, my brother absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the waiters were friendly and there when you wanted them to be. It was also very good value for money. I shall definitely recommend San Remo restaurant to other people.

The food was great and fairly priced with a great range to choose from. However I found the waiter we had to be slow, which irritated me. It took him 20 minutes to serve drinks when we arrived, and we were one of two tables, in the end we went to the bar and he then apparently decided he would serve us. Unfortunately the waiter took it upon himself to be the entertainment for the evening, which was not required as we had our own. In conclusion great food but disappointing service.

We ate at San Remo, Denton and it was the worst meal and worst place I have ever eaten, in, it was a special occasion and it as ruined. I don't feel there was anything Italian about this place.

San Remo is a cosy little restautant situated in the centre of Denton, The second you walk through the door you are greeted with open arms and the lush smell of Italian food. The owner / waiter (who is from Italy) is very friendly and a great character. The restaurant is decorated with photos and memorabilia from the owner's hometown in Italy.

The food is out of this world, choose from pasta, meat, fish or pizza, all are cooked to perfection. My personal favourite is the Garlic bread with c ...
