Purchased my storm XT from Walmart about 2 months ago to replace my aging Daisy powerline 856. I still shoot the Daisy sometimes but wanted something with more power. This new Crosman has taken out 6 squirrels @ approximately 40 feet, 3 head shots, 3 behind the shoulder (2 of those kills required a follow up shot). To eliminate scope issues, I wrapped the scope with a little duct tape where the rings clamp down on it, and used locktite on all screws. The scope isn't perfect, but it's not bad at all for the cost. I have been using flat nose Daisy as well as Gammo rocket pellets. Most kills have been 1 shot events. Great rifle for the price, replacement parts for the Walmart gun can be found in this catalog http://www.crosman.com/pdf/manuals

If you want to pay more for a better rifle, I'd reccomend upgrading to a real firearm (ruger 10/22 for example). This Crosman is great for the backyard though.

I don't know what it is about the scope and this gun, but I haven't been able to zero the sights in either! So I took it off and used the regular sights, which I zeroed in very easily, and it now shoots very accurate, and powerful! I don't know if I will put the irritating sights back on it or not. This is the best gun for the money, you can shoot through a can and it looks like you used a real gun on it! Squirrels and rabbits don't stand a chance against this gun! Could use more compatible sigh ...

Needed gopher killer, no soon got scope sighted in when gopher appeared at high noon in my front yard. Graped rifle and one pellet, leaned against RV, had a 30 ft shot. Knew i would only get one shot and got him.Very powerful, little on heavy side. Filled plastic gallon w/ water, @ 50' pellet entered and exited thru 6" of water, couldn't believe it.

Can't beat it for the money, I'm used to using An RWS Diana wich is a great gun however the price difference is nothing to sneeze at. I highly reccomend the storm xt to anyone. Just make sure the scope mounts are aligned and snug.

I bought this for a GroundHog Problem! I live within City Limits and was not able to use a real gun. I paid $110 at Walmart, I wanted the most powerful/cheapest pellet gun I could find as this was a single purpose purcahse. This Storm XT is about the most powerful available and I would recommend nothing less powerful for any game animal the size of a squirrel or larger. The air rifle felt quite solid and similar in size and weight to a .22 rifle. I didn't mess with the scope and just used the ir ...

I just bought the crosman storm xt gun yesterday, and it is awesome. If you take your time setting up the scope sites, it is dead on. I set the site to about a 30 yard target, and then was hitting a 40 yard target about 85% of the time. The gun has some weight to it, but it makes it feel solid. This is only a Pellet gun, no BBs, but that's not a bad thing. It is a quality peice at a great price. Def would recommend to buy.

lets see, i got my crosman storm xt like a month ago, a lot of people say that the scope tends 2 slide back, i found the answer to that lock the rear scope mount wit the scope stop, slide the scope back until the adjuster touches, that will stop the creep, i have yet 2 kill anything but im still keeping my snipe skills good at about 30 to 60 yards, buy the storm xt, its worth the money. happy shooting.

I just bought the crosman storm xt. It seems to be a very solid gun for the money. My only real grip is that it seems to shoot very inconsistently with the center point scope. Not sure if its the crosman pellets or the scope.

The Crosman Storm XT is good value. Hard to beat for the price. Reasonably accurate with open sights and quieter (subsonic) after several hundred rounds break-in period. Chronographed at 850fps +/- after first 500 rounds using standard .177 flat tipped Daisy pellets.

The Crosman Storm XT is a very Good Gun! have killed three squirrels, a rabbit and two groundhogs with this gun. always use heavy 8.0-10.6 grain or JSB pellets with this gun, others will work but are to light to be consistent on long range targets. I killed a rabbit with PBA Raptors but was lucky shot. the three squirrels were with Crossman ultra Mag premiers. The Groundhogs were killed from 20 feet with JSB Predator ammo, i belive the best hunting pellet ever made.

luv this crosman storm xt gun, very accurate 2 inch groups @65 yrds. 2 stage trigger is easy 2 adjust, the center point scope is very nice, heavy construction, took about 15 shoots to zero it in, at 25yrds, the same scope is 54.00 dollars at wally world, at 1200 fps it zings, ordred sum gamo raptors, an alloy pellet designed for accurace, that claim to boost fps 25% that takes it up to 1500fps its going to b a great trainer 4 my son, the recoil gives it a real gun feel and the pellets r way chea ...

I bought my Crosman Storm so I could maintain my marksmanship 'edge' without the cost of ammo for my 7mm.
A full bodied weapon with the weight of a full sized rifle. Very accurate out to 75 yards and decent out to 100. I have a target 100 yards downrange in my back yard, I can go on my back deck and shoot to my hearts content and consistantly get a 1/2" group.

for the money the Crosman Storm XT is a very good pellet gun. I had one but the spring broke, so so did the gun. that was my fault though because i never oiled the spring. I bought a new one though and have had it for about six months. It has been holding up well. I have kept count of how many animals i have shot and killed with it and as of right now im at 132. most were birds. I have taken a rabbit from 60 yards, head shot. and i have shot around 3 birds at 100 yds, most take a second shot. ki ...

Definatly impressed by the quality and how accurate the Crosman Storm XT is. I sited it at about 10 yds and it has worked true until 100. I got it for small pest control but havent gotten the chance to spot one yet, but im sure it will do fine.

The Crosman Storm XT is a very accurate hard hitting air-rifle. Great value for the money. Excellent optical scope, easy to shoot, very accurate although the iron sights leave a lot to be desired.

I just bought a Crosman Storm XT at the goodwill store for $8.00, and I know I have a made out good. Im guessing by the paper work attached it was bought at kmart, returned resold, and then donated. I shot into a pillow and the pellet was stopped by the liner.
