Good Points: Well-written text with plenty of examples Good for interior designers (definitely the main audience), image consultants and graphic designers Helpful homework assignments
Bad Points: Almost non-existent support from tutors Lack of further reading recommendation No interaction with anyone else on the course
General comments: You get out of Limpert's Colour Consultancy what you put in. Well-written text with plenty of examples, enjoyable and relevant to a number of disciplines, from interior designers (definitely the main audience) to image consultants to graphic designers (which is what I am).
I DID learn a lot from the material, combined with a lot of my own research and outside reading. Most importantly, the required homework assignments have been incredibly helpful in providing me with material for clients.
The major downside was the almost non-existent support from tutors, and lack of further reading recommendations if you're not an interior designer. At almost £750, I was expecting a lot more support, but I received only a half page on each homework assignment and a few lines in reply to any emails (if they were answered at all). I called and wrote of my frustration over the lack of any support, and I was reassured that all would change. Sadly, it never did.
I had no interaction with anyone else on the course (not sure if anyone else was taking it), so it was basically like buying an excellent book with the bonus of some feedback on your assignments.
Overall, it is worth the money for what I got out of it -- but only because I invested so much time and effort in it myself, and because I have made it work for me.
