“Great Course”

This course, being offered as home study, is a good alternative for those who can't afford to study full time. Having a full time and part time job, I've managed to complete the 2nd year HND in a year and a half, achieving a very good result whilst juggling work at the same time. This has obviously been very satisfying for me as I got the chance to study interior architecture at my own pace. I was naive and took a course HND in interior design with Limperts. apart from my study material and email address you revive nothing. They will answer your emails and phone calls as long as you will be paying your payments. Once you paid them all the money they simply ignore you. There is no student support, your tutor will answer your e mails after few weeks if only. I have studied 3 years with them and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I bought an interior design diploma course for my wife in January this year and paid over Stg1,500. Unfortunately, or perhaps shall I say fortunately, my wife could not undertake the studies due to arising family problems. I had paid the course in full in advance with credit card. She wrote to the acadmey several times asking for a refund but they didn't answer. I also was lured into the dreaded limperts interior design course, flew through all my exams with top marks and failed my final. When I rang to ask if they could help as to where I got it so wrong and to question how they marked my paper they told me they were not obliged to give out such information. Taking the Interior Design course. Absolutely no instruction other that a few pages of typewritten text. They do not use modern technology to assist learning AT ALL. You pretty much have to learn on your own which you can do without having to pay thousands to Limperts! (read more)

It would be nice if Limperts Academy would spend their time resolving the problems with their course, rather than sitting online protesting their "innocence". Too many people have had issues with this course for the academy to be blameless. I am looking to launch a law suit against them for failing to provide all the required material and support, if any other students (or ex-students!) out there would be prepared to testify, and help to set a precident for themselves and future students,... I was wanting to do an interior design course with Limperts Academy of Design and after being on a few forums I found mixed reviews on all there courses. So I thought I would ring them and see for myself as when I checked out their website I was very impressed. LImpert's Academy used my credit card WITHOUT Consent, authority or my knowledge. I enrolled in a one year diploma course, as a home study student from overseas. Payments were to be made by me, on a monthly basis, etc. All my emails were never answered and then they committed fraud. My credit card company was informed, and an investigation will ensue. I urge anyone thinking of paying online, with this instituition, don't do it. And research other schools that are more professional,... (read more)

I have just completed the Interior Design Diploma with limpert academy and found it really great. The course encourages you to come up with your own ideas. When i sent an email asking for help - it was answered on the same day and although the feedback is limited - it is precise, to the point and allowed me to develope as the course progressed. The course does take more time than I expected but many of the projects get you to produce some great items for your portfolio. I would recommend... (read more)

Limperts Academy school is a con. I graduated with the HND diploma in interior design. The school just wants your money, they don't care about anything else. Harsh support, the tutors change constantly, they are quite rude. They don't want anything to do with you via the phone. They prefer emails. If you are Canadian you still need to write the National exam. So this route is not the best. Go for your BA off the bat. Limperts Academy of Design is very expensive and unorganized. My... You get out of Limpert's Colour Consultancy what you put in. Well-written text with plenty of examples, enjoyable and relevant to a number of disciplines, from interior designers (definitely the main audience) to image consultants to graphic designers (which is what I am).

Long distant learning is not an easy choice, and my biggest concern was feeling that I can't reach anyone in the school when I need some help or some questions answered.
