Definitely recommend the Giant NRS1. Lightweight frame, simple but effective suspension design. High spec components add up to make this a great machine on the cross country race scene.
Equivalent bikes from the 'boutique' manufacturers command an unreasonable price premium and, in my opinion, are not worth the extra cash unless you have too much of it.

I told John that I heard several other NRS bikes were having the same problem. After a few minutes, he told me that Giant was having a problem with the NRS and that Giant Engineers were working on it.
