I actually got my items close to right on time. The website and customer service did tell me that at times, the items will be stuck in customs. But if you take out those days they were in customs, it really was 14 days that it took to reach me. So delivery was good for my experience. What is interesting to note is be careful with any items that you buy in the bargain bin. I ordered some region 3 DVDs and I can assure you they are bootlegged from Hong Kong. CD was pre-ordered. So my order was processed before release date. 24 days since 'despatch' - no CD. Their website says deliveries are 5-10 days. They are refusing to refund me even though they agreed to by now in a previous email. They have just sent another excuse re the order and asked me to wait longer. They are dishonest and do not keep to their own rules. They come up with new excuses and constantly just request that I wait longer. I regret ordering through them and will not again. (read more)

Just the worst company to deal with. They have 'lost' my orders, asked me to send them order details that they should have, ignore my emails asking where my order is - and worst of all, never commit to a delivery date. My latest order - which incidentally will be my last - is now 7 weeks overdue and I still don't know when/if I'll get it! Stay away from this company - they are clearly running the business on a shoestring and have no proper systems or processes in place. Terrible. (read more)

Same as previous reviewer, they send unwanted email which you can't opt out of, they say they don't have the email address they are spamming on their records. Their previous website allowed user account login, but guess what, the change/removal of email address didn't work and now they have temporary website that I can't log into at all. Some companies just feel pukka when you're using one but this one just smells fishy. Use at your own risk. (read more)

Pre-ordered Dragon Age 2 Signature Edition in January 2011 from Bang CD. They took payment from my account immediately which annoyed me because the game was a pre-order. The game was released March 11th 2011 but haven't received anything. I emailed Customer Services and first they said they had lost my order info, and to email my order reference email to them (which luckily I had kept) so they could dispatch my order. As far as I can remember, I've never bought from these people. However, I've suddenly started to get sales emails from them.
I checked to see if I have an account (using the email address they are sending to) ... their system says there isn't one.
I've sent them messages through their contact form asking them to stop sending email messages. They haven't stopped.

A mixed experience but not as bad as I expected! I bought a CD/DVD from Bang on 12th/13th January. I subsequently read some reviews on here and had a panic that they were just a con (alarm bells rang when I didn't receive an order confirmation and emails chasing for an order confirmation were ignored). Worst company I have ever dealt with on line completely ignore all youre mails apart from 1 preformatted e mail. Ordered cd as Christmas present on 5/12/10 which they failed to deliver until 6/1/10. It was a good price and i know this site has been going for a while so didnt think there would be any issues. When trying to contact them there is no number to ring as based in Singapore. Have been buying off BangCD for a number of years now and have never had a problem. It does state that items can take 1-2 weeks for delivery. If people want them quicker then they should go to a shop to buy them. I have recommended them to a number of friends who also use them. Must admit, their prices have gone up quite a bit - when I first started using them a while back their CD's were around £5.99 - £6.99 for new releases. They are now around £7.99 - £8.99. If I could give Bangcd a zero rating I would ! I have bought from them on and off over the years and found them reasonable - good value , limited range or products but woefully slow.
Apparently they have not been taken over and the PS3 game I ordered Nov.2009 has evapourated ! Afetr countless emails to them about the delivery date I was told :-

Till december 2009 no problems with Bangcd. Then I ordered a Blu Ray dvd from Harry Potter. After 3 months no dvd and they promised to give me my money back. But I'm still waiting. In the meantime I ordered a cd from Jimi Hendrix and I'm still waiting for it as well!! 30 euro down the drain.
And the worst part: they don't react at emails and the site is still open. So think three times before you buy!! But better don't buy at all!!!

Beware of this company-they are based in Singapore and they deal in imports which is why they seem to be bargains. I ordered a CD in January which was being released 8th March. They debited my account straight away ! I asked where my CD is and they are still waiting for stocks and offered a refund if I wanted to cancel. I had previously purchased from Bangcd and was always very happy with the service and delivery time so had no reason not to use them again. However in November I ordered 4 CD's and they never showed up after 3 weeks. I sent at least 6 emails and got no response. I set up a dispute with Paypal and got a full refund withing 24 hours and 2 days later a reply from Bangcd. About 2 weeks later I got the goods! The website items usually despatched in a few days. 2 weeks later when I emailed to ask where the item was and explained it was a Christmas present, I got an email back saying my item was due for despatch the next day and to allow up to 2 weeks for postage.
