    Having just returned from my first cruise on the Nile upon Alexnader the Great boat (Discover Egypt), I have to say that the whole experience was incredible.
    Fantastic cabins, great food from the 6 course a la carte meals to deck barbecues, nothing was a bother and everything was cooked perfectly.
    Never worried about upset tummies as the whole experience is spotless and clean with exceptional staff service and care. The only downside was that when berthed at Aswan the volume of boats at the quay side caused a very heavy diesel cloud over the location that made you retreat back indoors as opposed to sitting on deck for that night. Recommend this vessel to everyone and would like to extend my thanks to the complete crew for a holiday that not only met expectation but exceeded them by far. Drinks little pricey but the wine is noe very drinkable stick with Shirazad white and red.

    We had an unforgetable experience having a cruise with this boat. Excellent personelle. Clean cabins and delicious kitchen. I recommend it to everyone.

    This boat is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone! If you go on the nile go with Discover Egypt, they provided an excellent service!!!!

    Fabulous boat with outstanding staff who are so attentive. We were lucky to have a great group who were total strangers to start with but became friends who we had such fun with, especially at the Galabaya party that we were all dreading!

    You must make the effort to dress up and attend as it really breaks down barriers with all the nationalities on board.

    I would just love to sail on the Alexander every year, it was so relaxing sitting on deck watching the larger boats race by. ...

    Alexander the Great offers an elegant Nile Cruise experience. Stunning views of Egyptian temples and tombs are enjoyed from the comfort of a newly decorated and far more spacious cabin.
