    Good Points: None

Bad Points: Don't give them your money!

General comments: I signed up for their "lifetime" membership with the optional "DVD download" feature, and what I got for my 50 bucks was the following:

    - Download links to programs which are FREE (like MP3 Rocket, Limewire and Trusty Files). You don't need to pay a dime to download these P2P programs directly from their sites, but IMP3 is representing them as some sort of "premium service". The versions of these programs that you download aren't even the premium versions.

    - Tutorials on subjects like how to use Windows Media Player to burn a CD. Is this their "premium DVD burning service"? I didn't need to pay $15 for someone to show me how to use WMP. Again, I can get that information for free from Microsoft.

    - A supposedly "unique" login name and password, which in reality, is a generic login which comes up regardless of the e-mail address you use to log in. I went to their "members" section, typed in a totally bogus name and e-mail address, and it gave me the very same username and password that I supposedly paid for. Try it - anyone can get into the "members" section of this site (not that there is anything worthwhile there).

    - Technical support? Well, we'll see. Their support e-mail bounces, and although you can supposedly file a ticket on their website, I'm not feeling too hopeful. They supposedly have a "90-day money back guarantee." I'll give them a couple of days to respond before I contact ClickBank for a refund. My one advantage is that, since I paid with a credit card, I can file a chargeback if necessary.

Bottom line....IMP3Download.com represented themselves as an independent search engine and P2P client, advertising, among other things, 300 times faster downloads, tens of millions of songs, a DVD movie library available for download (for an extra fee), and 24/7/365 tech support. So far, I've seen none of this. What IMP3Download.com REALLY is is a site offering mirror downloads of third-party software and common documentation, all of which is available elsewhere on the net ABSOLUTELY FREE. Want to see for yourself? Go to their "members" section and log yourself in - any e-mail will work.

Take my advice - save your money and spend it on Christmas presents for the kids.

iMP3 Download worked great for almost 2 months. Now it won't work and there is NO tech support - no one helps - no one answers. It's like there is no one there except a company to take your payment.
