    Bad Points: Typical in this class of camera is a delay in exposure after pressing the shutter button unless you upgrade to a digital SLR. Wish focal length would go wider to 24mm and highter to around 200mm.


    General comments: Canon IXUS 850 IS is marketed in the US as the Powershot SD800 IS, F2.8-5.8, 7 MP, 28-105mm 35mm equivalent, optical (tunnerl) viewfinder, supports SD, SDHC, MMC memory, Lithium-Ion NB-5L battery, 195 gr. Great, small general camera to always have on you in case you want to take a photograph, long lasting battery. Get the largest capacity SDHC memory available to never run out of space for a shooting session or trip. The optical viewfinder is useful on bright, sunny conditions where the LCD screen would be washed out. Unfortunately, camera designs are ommiting this feature to save on expenses.

    The Canon Ixus 850 IS is an excellent digital camera. It's easy to use and produces great pics. Image quality is superb!

    Really pleased I bought this Canon Ixus 850 IS and it was a bargain for £190 off eBay!
