The worsest insurance company ever. I reported an accident to them and they handled the claim nicely. That was it. Since I reported accident I did not hear anything back from them. i start chasing them and each person was saying to me completely different stories. “AVOID!!!!!”

I took out a Lloyds car insurance policy in December 2013. I emailed them my ncd 6 times and posted it. They ept saying they had not received it so put up my payment by £25 a month. After a written complaint which took 3 months to sort because the complaints department was so busy they eventually put the payments back to what they should of been. “Unbelievably stressful experience”

After they tried to increase my yearly policy payment I got a better quote elsewhere so wished to cancel my policy with them. What a joke. A month after cancelling, they were still trying to take the money from my account and after numerous phone calls they still insisted they couldn't stop they payment coming out my account, so I'd need to ring my bank to cancel the payment my end. “Useless money grabbers”

Cancelled my policy after a couple of weeks and went back to Admiral! Initial insurance quote was pretty good, I would also get £25 back if I stayed with them for over 60 days... then I got a letter from them thanking me for notifying them of changes to my policy. “Do Not Use”

They are truly awful. I obtained a "no claims" letter from Lex Autolease, part of the Lloyds Bank Group, which said it was acceptable to almost all major insurers. You would think that Lloyds Bank Car Insurance would be one of them but the insurers have found any reason possible no to accept the letter. Needs to state the exact make & model of car, exact dates of when each car was used, etc etc. Their attitude is appalling and customer service is a joke. “Oh my god what a company ”

This company is a shower . If you value your car do not take out a policy . They lie about receiving emails , fail to update your policy . They are not lloyds bank . “£1000 for one months insurance!!!”

Took out car insurance with Lloyds. E mailed them my no claims letter which was a day late so they charged me an extra £620 for the one month of car insurance. Despite cancelling the policy which was cheaper than continuing the policy even with proof of no claims they refused to refund the money so I have aid £1074 for 4 weeks and 2 days car insurance. “Don't use this company they are a rip off”

I took out insurance last year in nov on the website and paid deposit using my visa debit card. The monthly payments also came out of debit card. In April I lost my debit card and hence got a replacement card . Unfortunately I forgot the insurance payment was associated to the debit card hence lloyds had the wrong details and payments for may and June never worked. Thinking of getting reasonable insurance, think outside the box and avois Lloyds car insurance. After demanding my NCD three weeks after signing up, only for my previous insurer not supplying the NCD in the time frame laid out by Lloyds Car insurance. You pay extra for features such as legal cover etc. You pay extra to amend any details, £25 per item e.g new bank account. Policy managed online, if u want to talk to someone you get passed around a lot. “Lousy service from their NCD department”

I took out car insurance and waited for my old insurers to supply my NCD details. Lloyds bullied me constantly for the proof which I obviously could not send until I had received it from my old insurers. In the end because they implied that I was a liar I cancelled the policy and went back to my old insurers who managed to discover my NCD entitlement from the National Insurance Database which Lloyds would not do. Report this to the Ombudsman they are legally obliged to treat customers fairly this means treating you as an individual not as a number to turn into a cash cow.

Same scenario as many of the reviewers,said they hadn't received my NCD proof which was sent TWICE by 1st class recorded delivery.now as if by magic they've received the NCD proof but it's not 9+ years it's only 6 years (strange that...seeing how it clearly stated 9 years) So now they're telling me they MAY have to charge extra or they MAY cancel the policy. Not only did they sign me up to another insurance company for £6 which I knew nothing about! They have now taken £700 from my account without my permission! I have still got to find out who the other insurance company are and what it covered. When taking out the policy with lloyds I specifically said no to things like key cover! I insured 2 cars with Lloyds through their website. By using the website I was entitled to a £25 cashback for each policy. NO cashback forthcoming, phoned today to be told that I chose to have replacement key cover and a hire car if needed, therefore no cashback. “worst insurance company in 30yrs”

My advise is to avoid this company at all costs, they have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. No wonder they are making so much money, they are not interested in the customer at all. They have breached FCA complaint rules your complaint only has to be verbal and they must seek to redress immediately or write to you within 5 days and there must be a final resolution within 8 weeks. A complaint can be an expression of dissatisfaction. they are poorly trained and the Ombudsman will charge them for complaint mediation and will not look favourably on a breach of complaint handling rules. You owe it to yourself to pursue this.
