I insured my car fully comp with Lloyds TSB and it proved to be the biggest mistake I made, I had to claim for an accident 2 years ago, my car was written off which they paid out for but 2 years later I am receiving letters from a court for over £2,000.00 from the driver of the other car involved in the accident, presumably for repairs to his vehicle, all correspondance was forwarded to lloyds who assured me they would deal with it and did nothing, yesterday bailifs turned up at my parents home to seize goods to the value of the claim, repeated promises from lloyds to sort this and phone me back amounted to nothing and I am still waiting to hear what is being done to sort this out, the distress caused to myself and my parents is immense and I now worry that I will have a CCJ against my name for no fault of my own, I would never ever use this comapny again

Like most people I bought the cheapest car insurance I could buy from confused. I hadn't even considered I might claim but when I had to Lloyds TSB were great. No fuss and I got a courtesy car whilst my car was in the garage

I always insured my cars with LloydsTSB and payed monthly, smiled and looked happy. I had just bought another car and when I went to tax it, I was spoken to by a car insurance person who wanted to sell me their policy. When I told him how much I was paying he was absolutely apalled and came in with a price £500 (yes £500) cheaper! Yeah, yeah I thought but I decided to look around. LloydsTSB are underwritten by Churchill. Guess who came in with the cheapest quote? Yes, you guessed i ...

They are a fantastic insurer to go through. I will definately be staying with them and would recommend them to any one. Can not really say a bad word against them.

I chose them because I used to bank with them, but the experience in one year was so bad I changed bank too.

No communication. When a bus hit me, I ended up with no courtesy car due to miscommunication with Lloyds TSB car insurance, and the actual insurer Churchill. No one kept me up to date, and I chased none stop for any details till i was blue in the face.

They rely on the Banking reputation - and they never return calls. I have been driving for 24 years and had many different compani ...

At first I found a cheap insurance quote for my car, but not the cheapest I found. However I use LloydsTSB for banking and thought I would stay with them for my Car Insurance.

    What a mistake!

They insisted on proof of a car alarm, and proof that an immobiliser was installed in my car, which I can understand if I said that I had one installed myself. However my car came with a factory fitted alarm and immobiliser, which requires a programmed micro chipped key to start, and a certificate w ...
