Good Points: Good build quality, easy to use, simple design, nice looking, versatile.

Bad Points: Cannot easily be used as a squat rack. Very slight movement on bench due to folding mechanism though this does not interfere with even very heavy benching. Could decline more.

General comments: This is the first home olympic bench I have bought. It is of a very good build quality and makes my old Weider home bench look like a real runt! The bench itself can incline to nearly vertical although in this position the bar stands cannot be reached so i use it generally for seated dumbbell presses.

The stands are very wide and leave only about 1 1/2 inches either side before the collar of a 7ft olympic bar. Although it doesn't matter if the collar lands on the stand as they are wide enough to accomodate it - just the bar will be on a slight slant!

The bench isn't designed for use as a squat rack though I have found that it can be used as such with the bench in the fully upright position (out of the way of your knees). Though I wouldn't advise going amazingly heavy like this as you need to be able to get the bar accurately back on the stand. It is still useful though for squatting weights you can't lift over your head.

The folding mechanism is great and I really do enjoy using this bench. I've only had it a few months but I'm guessing with correct use it will last for many many years.
