The Darlington Building Society Mortgage is not competitive and home insurance cost toxic. Staff lack experience of anything but basic issues and can't even tell you how much you may have to repay to clear your mortgage balance. Increasing admin passed to customer for enquiries. Very poor.

A sad and concerning decline from a mortgage customers perspective - cannot recommend at all. Have been really bad at passing on rates cuts in SVR. Staff appear utterly uniformed re what plans are. Mortgage products offered were once competive are now very poor. Used to be a friendly, helpful society .- Read Guest's review (51 words)
