Good Points: I saw Alan Carr live at the Deco in Northampton. A supremely talented comedian who has a natural command of an audience. Original and very funny comedian.
Bad Points: His support act was very variable. His interaction with the audience was painfullly bad at times.
General comments: I would recommed Alan Carr to anyone.
The camp comedian from Northampton avoids making his routine one long "campfest." His observations were witty and original.
The nature and quality of his material and his type of routine is not anything original or ground breaking. He is simply a very, very good traditional stand up comedian. Wonderful jokes, splendid delivery and an original perspective on old themes.
