Our Tefal turbo 400 blew up with a spectactular flash after 2 years of light use. Very poor quality and not recommended.

Having previously owned a Tefal Turbo Pro 400 for 3 years we decided to purchase another one when this one died. In less than six months we have replaced our second Tefal on 3 occasions due to leaking and loss of steam capacity. With the third replacement iron, when plugged in the handle overheated to the point where it could not be held for any length of time. Tefal definitely need to get there act together. In fact on returning the third replacement I was informed by the store that Tefal irons had the record number of returns from any other iron. As a consequence Tefal have lost us as a customer. Have now purchased the Philips Azur.
