we have had our SunnCamp awning for 3 years, unfortunately it has finnally given up to our English weather. We used our awning every weekend and were very pleased with its performance in the extremes it had to cope with, only once did it not behave but this was due to heavy winds and the small side vertical panels vibrated and were noisy all night. On the whole this awning is excellent value for money, it is what it is, if you want something for a seasonal pitch then dont buy, for the weekend caravan its easy to erect(15 mins)and plenty of room for a smoke.

We have used the same scenic plus for since they came on the market and found it very good even in a strong wind . we put a piece of sponge at the end of the poles that touch the caravan as they did make a dent in the caravan wall but the sponge stops that and there is no noise from the poles. you do have to be careful when pegging it down not to rip the fabric.

had SunnCamp Scenic 260 for three years no problems cheap and lightweight not as strong as traditional awnings but at a fraction of the cost. you get value for your money.would recommend the 390 if it fits your caravan.

SunnCamp Scenic very easy to put up. Ideal storage area. Used much more than large awning.

We've had this awning for 3 years and we have found it extremely useful. it does not withstand strong winds, but then you would not expect it too and the ends of the awning where the poles go in need to be strengthened.

Be really careful buying the SunnCamp Scenic awning. We had a pole burst through the end striking the caravan wall causing a deep gouge. It cost a lot of money to repair. I really worry that people are still using these things. If you do, best buy some fishing line and some leather patches and really sew and strength the ends where the poles are up against the caravan. Bad points are workmanship, quality of materials, splitting poles and ends, bad fit, draughty. Good point is it was cheap.

Stands up to the weather quick and easy to erect and at the end of the day goes in such a small bag, will probably never use the full awning again.

Very shoddy workmanship and NOT a good buy. Nightmare to erect in the wind. Could not stop the horizontal pole end pulling away from wall without ties. leaked like sieve from gutter rail. difficult to attain any effective wall seals.

The SunnCamp Scenic may seem like a nice little caravan awning, but beware! Our Scenic had a pole bust through one of the strengthened pockets which lie at the top of the caravan, ripping into the wall and costing us a lot of money to repair. Also, the poles we're all splitting after a period of use. The quality of materials is terrible when put to practical use.
