Had the BSA airsporter for 30 years. Easily hit targets at 210 feet. Bit heavy but that compensate's the stability. With and without a scope very accurate.

A classic gun. I've had this one for 29 (yes, 29) years and it still performs well. Accuracy never an issue, unfussy about pellets (shooting or loading), never been touched apart from standard lubrication and barrel-cleaning. Easy to cock, and lovely trigger-pull. Common sense says it's not putting out 12ft/lbs any more, but it still takes out crows, pigeons and rabbits as well as it ever did. There was always a bit of spring "boing", but it's part of the gun's character. Only noticeable to the ...

The BSA Airsporter, a classic design the original Mk1 set the standard, the later Marks lost a little bit of the look with the loss of the tapered barrel, the blued steel finish was always to a high standard, the original early woodwork had style which was lost by the third incarnation with the Mk3 that was built down to a cost. The Mk6 was solid and accurate, the next development being the ' Airsporter S ', this improved the woodwork but made the breach block clumsy, the limited edition Centen ...

Good as a cheap plink gun but not all that good for serious shooting. I had mine for years now and still love it tho but there is alot better on the market these days.

Just managed to find a mint Mk7 with a new spring and full service under its belt and not many pellets since. So far been REALLY impressed with it, mine has a Parker Hale silencer fitted which seems to do the trick although the internals are still a little noisy, much better than standard though. Barrel had to be professionally shortened and adapted so not a cheap option but well worth it as the Airsporter is an amazing piece of kit for pest control and hunting. Like it so much im almost now won ...

Cracking gun beautifully made, built to last "come get some"!! This gun is powerfuleven at about 11.5 lbs (so i was told by the shop i got it at) it drops rabbits at 35 yards, providing its just right of the eye. I love it its my second air rifle BSA all the way!
Just a little heavy and no silencer, i need a silencer but dont know what will fit it

I love this bsa airgun! Its so solidly made and there is nore than enough power.
It hit anything up to 30m, dead centre. A great shot. The BSA Airsporter is a great all round gun.

Brilliant rifle, low maintenence, deadly accurate, i now own a Wr 80 sent to germany for original bits, when fitted gun registered 24 ft lbs, more power but more weight and kickback:
an ideal would be airsporter with around 20 ft/lbs it would be the best real vermin shooters gun out there

I have a BSA Airsporter's Mk 1 that I have owned since the late 60s. She will still despatch a rabbit or rodent at 30yards. Though a touch on the heavy side these guns cannot be faulted for their workmanship and accuracy.
I find the blue tin ELEY wasp pellets ideal for this rifle.

Got my airsport given me sanded the stock and oiled it took all the knocks out fitted a new spring and made a silencer out of a 20 mm piece of plastic conduit and slotted it so the front sight kept it in place of all my guns I prefer this one and well recommend BSA Airsporter's.

I have owned my Airsporter MK2 for 40 years now , I moved on to rimfire and centre fire rifles (243) , my sons now have come of age to explore shooting and I dug out the airsporter 6 weeks ago , ideal for the newbie. I discovered that the cocking link was broken , (this was forgoten about when I put it away). I made a few enquiries via internet and found a new cocking arm , and delivered to me next day ......... the gun is simple in its technology , took me 5 mins to dissasemble arms and general ...

This gun is very powerful. it has a hooded open sight. the recoil is quite strong but the ventilated rubber recoil butt pad helps this. also its cambered for the old 5.6mm pellets not the 5.5mm pellets, so it can be hard to find pellets in the right caliber. i use eley wasp pellets in the blue tin. these are good quality and shoot well.the underlever is relatively hard to cock, but once u get the hang of it its fine. It is also very heavy, so it can be tiring to carry and keep cocking out in the ...
