    Good Points: Boils very quickly


    General comments: The Philips HD4657 Essence is a brilliant kettle. No bad points other than after serious use for 2 years + the limescale filter does deteriorate.

    I'm on my second one of these The element on the first one failed after a few of years of use. Might have been nice if it had lasted longer but I had been so pleased with it that I actively searched out an identical replacement. The 'new' one has been going fine for over 2 years now and looks/works as good as new.

    Overall my Philips HD4657 Essence looks good, works well and hasn't broken yet!
