    I flew with them Frankfurt / Bangkok 2 times this year with Etihad Airlines, now I have been in contact with their support for 6 months to get my miles credited and they failed to do so.

    6 months have passed since the first flight and they say they will never credit that flight due to their 6 months rule. They say so although i contacted them immediately after that flight.

    - exchanged tons of emails through the contact from the Etihad web site.
    - sent copies of my boarding passes 3 times
    - talked to the Etihad service staff at fra airport (not responsible, said someone would contact me, did not happen)
    - talked to their service staff at abu dhabi airport (not responsible)
    - talked (on the phone) to their service staff in Cologne, they said they are not responsible for that and can not solve it
    - my travel agency contacted them
    All without success...

    Being a frequent flyer miles are somewhat important to me. Why would I chose Etihad for my 3 times a year frequent traveling to Asia if they are apparently not interested in the individual customer? Why would i want an airline where no one is responsible in case of any problem?

    Etihad Airlines has the worst customer service ever.I travel once or twice a year but i have never experienced such service before.

    I gave that a star because in theory they have a plane. Our flight was cancelled without any reason being given, however we except the fact that things happen. We were booked on another flight the next day and given two cab charges to return home and to return to the airport. Both these cab charges were invaild causing great embarrassment. Will not fly with Etihad Airlines again.

    Etihad Airlines have become my favorite Airline carrier. I recommended to everyone, despite some bad comments beneath.

    I bought 2 tickets in May for me and my wife almost 2 months ahead of time. In couple of days we found that my wife could not travel and I canceled one ticket for a $200.00 fine. I have not received my refund to this day! You call one office and they ask you to email their branch in the middle east and when you email them they ask you contact the local office.

    I'll never again be using Etihad airlines.

    I liked the in-cabin product, the entertainment and the food. To be honest, the experience on-board was fantastic, the flight attendants were nice, and the general atmosphere was great. If there's one thing I can fault the airline for, it's the fact that it took forever for my bags to get off. I also used their coach service from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. It's a great product, and I hope that Etihad can expand their presence to Toronto since I do fly to the Middle East quite often.

    The worst customer sevice department i have ever delt with ignores emails and when they do reply it takes them weeks I complained to iata they told me to re submit my complaint to etihad i did this the reply from etihad was to close the case. All you get from them are lame excuses and no action .

    I have experienced several times use this Etihad Airlines flight until now, every thing are OK. I do not have bad experience with this flight.Even I heard some people have different experienced.

    I flew with Etihad to London Heathrow from Sydney via Abu Dhabi and back and found this to be a pleasurable experience. The aircraft arrived at all points on time and I found the trip to worth a repeat in January. I'd recommend them to anyone going to the UAE and beyond.

    Flew return Brisbane to London VIA Singapore & Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airlines. Check-in staff in Brisbane are excellent, transit in Singapore minimal (30min - enough time for shopping) and the new Terminal 3 in Abu Dhabi is 1st Class.. New summer flight schedule made my connecting flight to London depart within 90minutes of arrival into Abu Dhabi.     Flew with Etihad to Singapore via Abu Dhabi and returned via Kuala Lumpar. In summary I would NEVER fly with this outfit again. Yes they may tick many boxes in terms of aesthetics with new aircraft, personal TV screen and free drinks on board but their customer service is an absolute shambles.     LHR-BNE and SYD-LHR Feb 2009Superficially Etihad is comparable with Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, etc. However the actual customer experience leaves a lot to be desired. I flew five sectors with them - stopping in Abu Dhabi and Singapore on the way out, and in Abu Dhabi on the way back.     There didn't seem to be order in the entry line to the airplane in new York when we flew with Etihad Airlines.We were given the meal without choice, just take and eat.No newspaper on entry.way too much security inspections before boarding total 4.Turned entertainment system on late in flight and too early in arrival.I felt I experienced unprofessional call center staff.The cabins were unexpectedly unclean as usually the flights to and from the US are the best in world airlines,but in this case t ...

    I flew with Etihad twice and every time was equally happy. However, in February next year I'm flying Thailand again, and needless to say - I'm going to fly Etihad. I already have my Thai and Cambodian visas in my passport...:)

    The bad first; if you fly Etihad, sooner or later you will have to do through Abu Dhabi airport, which is a 1970s nightmare. Small, crowded, and with constant automated messages, in both Arabic and English, played at volume 11, all over the terminal. How people work there is beyond me.The good; S-e-r-v-i-c-e.
