If you have any sense about you then DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! My friend booked to go away and with paying so far in advance you'd expect great rates..... we paid £131 each for twin/double rooms in York Travel Lodge for two nights.... I needed to make a change to the booking on the day and we were unable to.... Having just returned from my stag doo in Belfast I have to say I had a mixed experience of good and bad points, however the bad points outweigh the good points for me. Firstly contact with the Chillisauce rep went from moderate to zero as soon as the final payment was made. After numerous emails I took it upon myself to find the information I needed. “Charged my credit card twice and not great value”

Pretty pushy at first and when I wanted to amend the booking was greated with the initial response "so are you saying that you want to sack off the booking" and an explanation to the question of why the quote was higher than the one given two days earlier that the company has to make a profit. Hi. Just read your review. Customer service/service sales team are an an absolute nightmare. When I made a complaint against the sales manager, she dealt with it herself!! How professional is that???? Out of interest how did your mates get on in relation to refunds due to force majeure?? Those terms & conditions are a joke!!! Clients have to give them 42 days notice if we cancel due to force majeure & we dont get refunds after that & they only have to give us 14 days notice and £10 compensation!!

To start with i was impressed by the company...a little pushy at times but generally helpful. they came back with a few quotes for what i wanted etc and it seemed bit expensive but to have it all organised in one place seemed ok. THEN, once the money is paid the customer service is non existant. I asked a couple of questions about where we got picked up location etc and just got blunt email answers telling me to look through a document they had sent me via email which i could not find... Company were really easy to use and offers a lot of bang for your buck.. or so it seems. They did arrange a decent hotel smack in the middle of Newcastle, 5 minutes from the center and all the bars which was great but then failed on the rest of the services they offered. The activities that were booked were basic packages that cost more when we arrived (ie no paintballs included in the package) and no transport to or from the hotel - we had to arrange this at an extra cost. Leading up to the event, the website was great and a good way of keeping on track. However, leading up to the event, they informed us that they had double booked us for our main event - Private karaoke with a meal. As the bride to be - this was a must for me. The girls then had to rally around and ended up finding somewhere to eat and a separate karaoke booth...not available til 12.30am! Booked an activity with them and the problem I had was the promises made when taking your money weren't honoured, and once they have your money you are fobbed off with terms and conditions. When they changed the venue last minute the 'central venue within 2 miles' turned out to be a 25 minute taxi away, I had to pay an extra £100 to get everyone there. The hotel was good value (except for the parking which - although not-owned by the hotel - they should be able to get a discount- £36 in total was a lot of money, and the obvious mark up for the bar didn't go down too well but par for the course I guess.). Its location made a big difference though, everything was on our doorstep except for golf, but to be fair to them, it wasn't too far and actually it wasn't too bad a course after all. Great weekend. Recovered, but only just. Now the apartments were great, a bit too good for us as we weren't organised enough to manage to use the kitchens in each flat, preferring to eat out. One negative was the fact that I tried and failed to contact Gary on our departure as one of the taps in the first flat wouldn't turn off, no matter how many off us attempted to. We were mis-sold our Stag Weekend to Berlin.
Accommodation - Not city centre as advertised - It was central EASTERN berlin HOSTEL - lots of us crammed into 1 room - no even ensuite.
Strip Clubs - Promised no rip off clubs with beautiful friendly ladies - were taken to the exact opposite
Local Guide - Rubbish - Even after complaining they stuck to the same bars knowing we'd complained. Marcel was grumpy (given i had complained) despite him being in the entertainment industry.

I have had a similarly bad experience with Chillisauce. What was the outcome with ABTA as my entire group want to take this further as Chillisauce have really let us down. Wish we read these articles sooner...

What a scam!!!
I found the whole process of booking my stag party through chilli sauce to be complete waste of time and money. They insist on getting full payment before you even know were you will be staying, then they break it to you that you will be staying in a hostel with 10 people cramed into a tiny 8 bed room with a window the size of a shoe box and 2 camp beds on the floor because they didn't reserve the right room for us.

In our case, Chillisauce had booked us clubs in London where they had a clear policy that same sex groups were not allowed on a Saturday night... We were then accused of being drunk and disorderly...

This weekend organised through Chillisauce was absolutely amazing!! Our plane was delayed by an hour leaving London, but our transport and guide "Mariana" were still waiting for us at Prague airport with smiles. The apartments we got was brilliant! The location and fact that we had a single apartment to share rather than being in a hotel or separate rooms was great. Using Chillisauce.co.uk to 'organise' my event was a complete waste of time and money. I wanted to buy a certain event for a large group and due to short-notice, i was not able to book it directly from the vendor, so I went through an agency - Chillisauce - who claimed that they could book the £50 per head event that I wanted. At first I was shocked at the fact that they charged £5 per head extra just for making the booking but it was not until I called the vendor myself that I found out... (read more)

Our group were accused of being drunk and disorderly o that they could get out of paying our money back. Instead of being sympathetic or understanding, we were made to feel like a rowdy bunch who deserved to have the night ruined. A 'partial' refund in 'good faith' was dismissed by the group who had found Chillisauces aftersales care horrendous. Did you take this further?
