    I've been to the Eiffel Tower twice. The first time I "climed" to the top using the lifts. The view of Paris is absolutely spactacular and the experience is amazing. The second time I used the stairs and got as far as the first floor. It is a bad idea to use the stairs if you are afraid of heights. An it is very tiresom. The view of Paris is really nice from the first floor as well. The first floor provides bathrooms, cafe and souvenir shops and the top third floor offers a small museum room in the middle with wax figures of engineer Gustave Eiffel.
    The tower is a must see landmark of Paris. I think the views of night Paris would be even nicer.

    Been up the Eifel tower twice. Once to the top using the lifts when I visited Paris for my wedding anniversary.The other time with my children we walked up to the second level - nearly killed me - great to say you have done it but not easy. It is much bigger than you think and the area around it are really nice. Would recommend a visit to anyone. One of the things you just have to do in your lifetime - climb the Eifel tower.
