We flew from Punta Cana to Montreal the crew was very nice tried their best to make us comfortable but was the most unconfortable flight I have ever been on, I think this is a very bad image or Air Transat to be partners with such an airline! I went to Punta Cana with Air Transat what a difference !!!!!! but unfortunately I did not pay attention to the return flight till was too late. Never Again!!!! You feel like sardines.. (read more)

I will NEVER fly with canjet again. This was my first and last trip with them.We returned yesterday from Veradero.There was only a 3 hours delay on the way to Cuba but the staff were very rude on the way to our destination.Upon returning home, our flight got delayed 3 times, a total of 14 hours with no explanation until we were decending.WE had to pay an extra 25 pesos to have a room at the resort where we could rest before spending hours at the airport while waiting for our flight to arrive... We flew from Toronto to Florida with 2 carry ons on board the CANJET flight but on the way back to Toronto they made us check them in, despite meeting the weight restrictions. I had left an engagement ring box in one of the luggages but it was locked with separate locks on the zippers. Once we landed and picked up our luggage, I found the locks on the bag with the engagement ring cut off with around the loops where the lock goes and another zipper with a lock broken into as well, all the... We called Air Transat holidays and Canjet prior to leaving and were told we would not need to prebook seats as we are guaranteed to have one adult sit with 1 child so we didn't and they sat our 7 yr old and 5 yr old together while my husband and I sat 1 row up and another row up (window seats) so not even able to help them. Flew from Kelowna to Cancun Mach 3rd err... 4th. No explanation given and definitely not weather related. Very cramped seats, lousy food both directions, and the worst landing I've ever experienced in any aircraft when landing in Cancun. This was the worst of all the bad experiences I've had from charters and pre-packaged vacations. Back to flying commercial for me. Don't waste your money with these guys. Here is a Brief description on just the flight alone. My Flight was Flight #806 from Kelowna to Puerto Vallarta Feb 19 with a return flight on March 4 flight #807. Where to start as I had a HORRIBLE experience from the time of booking that should have been my FIRST clue. Well lets start here the biggest concern and lesson i have learned.... I will never fly Canjet ever again! They took our luggage off the plane in Cancun while we sat their waiting and wondering what was going on. When we asked the flight attendents where our luggage was going they were rude and would not answer us. So we departed as we watched our luggage sit on the tarmac. It was not until we were in the air that they msde an announcement that due to weight restrictions they had to take our luggage off- fine,safety first- but then they lied that our luggage... You people amaze me, complaining about delays for mechanical or weather reasons, you don't even know the full story! Perhaps they should keep the flight on time and HOPE all goes well and you don't crash and die. You should be thankful emergency procedures are taken and that the crew is highly trained for those situations!
Very impressed with this airline, staff very courteous, hot meal, drinks, movie! Would definetely fly again, and would definetly recommend. Seats a little tight, but its a... (read more)

On March 23rd we arrived at the Hamilton airport at 5:30AM for our 8AM flight to Holguin Cuba.It had been snowing quite hard for a few hours as had been predicted for 3 -4 days before.The Canjet plane wasn't there but a Westjet plane was there flying in from Toronto a few hours before the weather hit.It promptly left at 7:30AM as scheduled.Why didn't Canjet fly in earlier as well?If it had we would have still been able to leave at 8AM as scheduled.Well,the weather only worsened throughout... Canjet flight was delayed 11 hours without advance notice and 1 hour on the return. Seating was horribly cramped. Food was very poor quality. Canjet boarded inebriated passengers and continued to serve them alcohol throughout the flight making the trip uncomfortable for others. Will never fly Canjet again. (read more)

Recently flew with CanJet and was very surprised. Received free hot meal and free champagne and free wine as well. Staff were very friendly and everything was on time and even a bit early upon arrival :) Will fly with them again for sure. The seats were ok and that is all i would change. (read more)

Every experience is different. I traveled Feb 20th and returned Feb 27th. Montreal/Cuba. Never flew with canjet, I had a great experience. Left Montreal on time; arrived early, and left Cuba 30min prior to departure time. The staff was friendly, and we were served a hot meal each way with drinks. I would fly with Canjet again. I fly quite often for business purposes; Canjet is by far is the worst Airline in the industry!I had the unfortunate opportunity to fly my family for a vacation to Punta Cana DR. Flight was delayed 5 hours in and 3 hours back due to "system" issues. The staff were laughing it off as if it was no big deal. We took our 6mts old baby on the trip; no priority boarding, no instaructions for stroller or what to do in case of emergency etc. We requested vegetarioan meals; they missed us and when... Lost my luggage and they just don't care. Perhaps a phone call, nope. Customer service line, nope, "please leave a message and we will call you back within 48 hrs. I might also add no way trace your luggage. The air line with the I don't care customer service policy. They suck!!!! (read more)

Flew out of Quebec City on January 23rd,2011 with Canjet and we had 'emergency procedures'on our landing in Cancun,Mexico due to a' flap indication abnormality'...circuled for over an hore, then landed with much braking and were towed into the terminal because the brakes 'might' have overheated'. The three hour delay was expected for the deicing of the plane. However, besides the cramped seat space we were placed in seats that had a broken recliner option and an arm that was broken. The movie was announced and someone complained so the pilot changed his mind and announced a different movie then announced it was not available and played some stupid documentary about robin hood! After looking at few of the deals of after christmas we saw an ad in the newspaper with a very low price on 2 weeks in Acapulco whit Vacances Air Transat and we were surprise to find out that CanJet was the airline instead of Air Transat.
We were a little bit disappointed but, what a suprise ! We left Montr al at 9pm right on time, we land at Acapulco about 10mn after the schedule time (the captain told us the winds were very strong that night).

I want you to know that I will NEVER FLY WITH CANJET AGAIN...!!! Your excuses for delays amazes me. I can understand one delay, but when it happens over and over and over.
I personally do not understand how your company can stay in business.
We had friends that left three days before us to Cancun and they were delayed by three times (oiginally tehy were to fly out at 6:00 am but left at 7:00pm). From Calgary to Cancun, three delays flight delays.

I would recommend that you tell EVERYONE you know not to fly Canjet Airlines! Do not be swayed by the cheap fares - it is not worth the stress of your life. Left Toronto to Antigua on Dec. 20th, after a 15hr delay, with no explanations. When I got to Antigua, they had lost my luggage, and after three days, didnt even know where it was.
