We went on a Travelsphere holiday to the christmas markets of the Blackforest.
We decided as a last minute thing to book and had no trouble with booking and securing our places on the trip.
We only found out at the last minute what time our departure was ... 03:00 this was a bit of a killer trip for us as it was going to take us 7 hours on a feeder coach to join our main coach for our mid morning crossing to dover.
when we arrived at dover (very tired) to change to our main coach for our holiday it seemed to be very hectic with lots of different reps jummping on and off our feeder coach with instructions as to what to coach people would need to get on. After having to pin a travelsphere rep down to find out which coach we were on we managed to find out where we needed to be.
Our rep and coach driver were amazing as they went above and beyond what they had to do to make our holiday better. we arrived at our overnight stop in Remis,we found out that the hotel was situated on the edge of a motor way with no facillites in the hotel for food or to get a drink from a bar, so our rep and driver took us all into Remis to get some food which made tihngs easier for people in the group as many couldnt put up with fast food burger chains.
When we finally got to our main hotel we found it to be situated just across the Rhine 10 mins into Germany, the Hotel was nice and clean the food ok but with some repeition to it. what made us slightly annoyed was that the tour was marketed as THE BLACK FOREST which many people including me and my wife thoght it would mean that we would be staying in a village or town in the Black Forest not over an hour away in the Rhineland.
When it came to visting the markets we seemed to arrive to early and leave at the wrong time as the markets seemed to come alive after midday, so when you are leaving at 4.30pm you seem to miss some stuff that happens late afternoon early evening. the optional tours wern't badly priced but seeing you should have been staying in the region and not visiting it I think that was the biggest annoyance as many people we spoke to felt let down slightly by Travelsphere's marketing of the holiday as you don't get to see the forest without having to pay extra

We recently went on the highlights of China trip. The trip itself wasexcellent, there was so much to see and do.The trip was very well organised and Judith, the tour manager was second to none. Her organisational skills were superb, to the extent that the local guides whislt we were in China commented on her.On two separate occassions, there were 2 people took ill, and one had to be hospitalised.Judith handled the rest of the 48 person party with no problemThe whole setup for the holiday was fantas ...- Read Guest's review (147 words)

My first experience of Travelsphere was with a trip to China. We had booked our dates and as the holiday drew closer we were written to and the dates had been changed by a whole week. Fortunately for us we were able to accommodate. When we spoke to other people on the same holiday, most of the group had had their dates changed. We have since booked a 3 night stay in Prague and again we have had changes made at the last minute (less than there 42 day cut off point for a full refund). This ti ...- Read Guest's review (176 words)

Just done the Travelsphere, Best of National Parks Tour, USA. First trip of this kind and would strongly recommend. Early starts and long periods on coach the only warning I would give but tour was planned out very well and there was so much to see that it was worth the time on the coach. Everything went according to plan with the help of fantastic Tour manager our Coach driver. Accommodation we also considered very good and some breakfasts were also included which we werent expecting - excel ...- Read barbara7's review (89 words)

My partner and I booked a holiday again through Travelsphere, because we were well happy with last years holiday with them, 2008, when we travelled to Austria. This year, 2009, we went on Best of Switzerland Coach Tour. What A Disaster! Hotel was not equipped for Disabled, they state this on website. Travelsphere should have known this. When I contacted them to tell them I was a wheelchair user the sales person I spoke to said this was no problem and the hotel had disabled access rooms. Th ...- Read Guest's review (207 words)

Travelsphere Ltd - It's difficult to know how their tours are - can't get past the "Call centre" sales. 1st attempt the sales lady had little idea which tours and extras went together, had no idea which hotels were used on the tour and referred me to look in their brochure and refused to email the details of a £4,000 holiday. Sadly I was cut off - Most likely my phone. 2nd attempt this lady from the call centre had a far better attitude, although still little knowledge of what holiday ext ...- Read Guest's review (188 words)

We went on the Walking and Cycling in Holland tour with Travelsphere. I was told we'd have a 'fairly early start' which turned out to be 4.30am (some poor souls had been picked up at 1.30!). The journey, which would have taken around 8.5 hours by car, took over 15 hours because of the 'driver's hours', the European part of which was in a 52-seater coach so we were terribly cramped. I'd happily pay more for 2 drivers so that we could just get there - on a 5-day trip, a journey of this length is l ...- Read LindenS's review (255 words)

The Western Exployer Tour turned out to be a trip of a lifetime and proved what a land of contrast America is. From beautiful San Diego, historic Route 66, legendary Hollywood, the picture postcard resort of Santa Monica & the old Western Town of Calico to the spectacular scenery of Yosemite Park, the Grand Canyon & Oak Creek Canyon & the bustling vibrant cities of Los Angeles, Las Vegas & San Francsico.
We found the tour to be well organised and professional and the accomodation overall was ex ...- Read Guest's review (126 words)

We went with a small group of friends on the Travelsphere New Year 2009 tour to Weatherby. Our hotel room had a thick layer of dust and the bathroom was very dirty. Generally we enjoyed the trip despite a friends jewellery going missing from the hotel safe. We felt that Travelshpere had overcharged us for 3 days in a dirty hotel room. Travelsphere did not agree.- Read Guest's review (72 words)

Our rep at Travelsphere was fabulous. She became best friend to everyone and sorted all of out as soon as a problem occurred. With 35 of us that was no mean feat! Everything we read was clear, easy to book, seamless travelling. Lovely Hotels & looked after wonderfully.

Will use Travelsphere again. Paris Upgrade, 30th Dec.-2nd January. Great holiday, good guide (Eric)and an exceptional driver, Graham. Graham took us to parts that no other driver could! The chamber maids were just a little too eager to clean the room, although they did return a little later when asked.- Read elizabeth holland's review (53 words)

Please pass on our grattidude to your Tour Manager Sevilay who we met whilst touring europe in a rental motorhome. It was the first time we had traveled this way and whilst in Italy we decided to take a train into Verona ( first time again ). My wife engaged Sevilay in conversation on the station platform and upon learing that we were travelling to the same destination and were also novices she gave us much welcomed advice on how the rail system operated in Italy and then allowed us to share her ...- Read Guest's review (106 words)

On the whole the Travelsphere tour we went on was very enjoyable - despite the feeling of having to rush from place to place.
The Hotels were of a good standard with a few small exceptions and the food and service at each one excellent. Staff were always friendly and willing to help.
