Good Points: This review is for a russell-hobbs us model rh 12951. it's chrome, glass and wood. quite beautiful to look at but not very functionable.
Bad Points: It has a permanent filter in the unit and almost every time i brew a pot of coffee, i find coffee grounds UNDER the filter. not sure how that happens. also, i called the us customer service and only got an answering machine.
General comments: I am very disappointed not only with the functionality of this coffee maker but also the non-existent customer service. also, customers should be warned - why buy ANY item from this company if you have to jump through so many hoops to buy replacement parts. this is absolutely ludicrous to me. russell-hobbs products are quite beautiful and unique to look at but other than that, i see no other positive attributes to their products. i paid over $100 usd for this coffeemaker. next coffeemaker i purchase will be a BUNN coffeemaker. they might not be as pretty but BUNN gets 5 stars from me for ease of use and reliability.

The Russell Hobbs 10973 will probably be good in about 5 yrs when they have refined it a bit. Cannot recommend at the moment, not being able to reboil the kettle drove me mad, tea made with water that has not just boiled is not the same!
