Nokia recognises that there is a problem with the GPS satnav system and have come up with the "assisted GPS" idea The problem was that I found the assisted GPS was fine if you were in the city, but once you got into the countryside, rural areas then it became a problem once again. Assisted GPS is their work-around to poor GPS satnav equipment. Assisted GPS is NOT "true" satnav. I would agree with your review however after almost 3 months of ownership my N95 has started to turn itself of for no reason. I also have difficulty in transferring files both to and from my phone. In particular I have a Video which I had taken on my old Samsung D600 which when I transferred both by bluetooth and via my PC the quality is awful and it will not play without the picture or sound freezing every 10 seconds or so. Apart from these points it is as you say a fantastic phone and I will be looking at the N96 when my 12 month contract is up.

I disagree with this review because it sounds like you got a faulty phone. I have had my N95 since it came out over a year ago and never ever had a problem with it. Yes it was a bit slow and froze sometimes but that was until the upgrade!!!!!!!
