Good Points: Functionality for the price, flexible for customization

Bad Points: Poor customer support, very technical to implement or upgrade

General comments: I used this AspDotNet Storefront software in a previous company, so this was my first choice for my new company. I have regretted that decision for months now. We have experienced so many issues with the company including horrible customer support, their upgrades crashed our site, they sent us files to fix the crash that had even more errors in them and caused permanent problems that they never were able to fix, there are coding problems with the site map, etc. I cannot emphasize how bad their customer support is. I have spent hours trying to explain basic problems to them, without getting answers. They have a bunch of programmers answering the support questions and cannot explain things to someone below their level of expertise. If you are not extremely technical, do not purchase this software. I have had to pay thousands of dollars to have someone fix the problems we've experienced with this platform. Also, both at my last company and with my new company, settings in the software periodically revert to the default settings without anyone touching them. This resulted in several problems with the site and days to figure out. Bottom line, don't waste your money on this unless you are a programmer and will never need to speak to anyone for support post purchase.

I am the CIO at a mid-sized company that provides truck accessories and tow truck equipment workd-wide using AspDotNet Storefront for our ecommerce presence. We considered both the SAP solution and a product called NetSuite. Both were similar but were missing key features that we required for Internet transactions with our customer base. This is our first experience using ecommerce software, and we've been very pleased with the product. The features are full, and they are continually updating the product. Customer support is great, with fast turnaround, and very helpful with both technical issues and specific feature questions. Their user forums seem to cover almost every topic we've looked for. Definitely recommend!

We have been using this product for a little of a year and have been extremely happy with the results so far. The features are fantastic for a product of this price. It's amazing how robust these shopping cart systems have gotten, and this one is very well organized and capable.

I decided on ASPDNSF as my shopping cart after researching many other carts. And boy am I glad with this decision! I primarily chose it because 1)it had a lot of build in features. 2)you could easily customize it 3)built on ASP technology with SQl Server backend. I have been developing a customised solution for a client who required some features that are not available out of the box in any e-commerce solution we have found.
As a developer I have found AspDotNetStorefront extremely flexible in its design and have been able to integrate my customer needs seemlessly.

The strength of the AspDotNet Storefront platform is in its breadth of features and its ease of customization. The admin site is a little clunky, but once you get used to it, it works fine. They give you source code, and Tech support is fantastic!
