Good Points: Good drive, well built, Beautiful Noise.
Bad Points: Not as fast as it sounds.
General comments: Borrowing the car for a fortnight I was well impressed, nice drive and the noise was amazing. however all came crashing down when I parked at the lights on a long stretch and an old man in 5 year old Volvo parked next to me, red amber green and off I was. The guy made ground on me! Now thats a dissapointment! It left me a little bemused!

Looking for a hot hatch? Having had the new Golf GTI for three years time for a change but what to?
I read countless web reviews on nearly all the hot hatches and decided to burn a week and try a test drive or ten, after all, when your parting with 20K+ it ' s a must. I used the same 35 mile pothole, crack ridden tarmac route accounting for both city and open country roads in Yorkshire. My MK V GTI set the bar quite high so I set about testing : Ford Focus ST and followed with: Renault Megane 22 ...- Read GrantDavid's review (763 words)

A thoroughly good all round car that even after 18 months of ownership still look for excuses (like my old Impreza STI) to go out for a drive.
Generally a Jeckyll & Hyde car which will still not show its performance/handling limits after years of ownership.
Have not had single problem or even topped up oil since new, tyres are only consumable to be renewed (approx 12,000 mls on front). Would recommend one to anyone who loves driving as I do myself!- Read stephen rowland's review (138 words)

This car is a dream. Fast, quick, small. Very much a joy to drive. The prices on this car vary from Dealer to Dealer. Most have them at around 35,000+. Some Dealers will not budge at all on the price. Literally no negotiation. The rear design is very unappealing, needs a little more shape too it.- Read Mach5's review (198 words)

I have had my Golf R32 now for 6 months and I absolutely love it. I used to have a Civic Type-R but have to do a 45 minute commute every day and with that and recently becoming a dad for the first time I decided a new car was in order. Thankfully I brought what I think is a great car, not only does it perform when you want it too it is comfortable enough to use every day even on the back roads I use some days to get to work.
I own the 5 door version and there is plenty of space to get the thr ...- Read jamesdb's review (295 words)

You just know there are going to be two types of Volkswagen Golf R32 MKV 3.2 reviews. The "rubbish, a VXR blow them away" from the reviewer who's maybe persuaded his dad to get the brochure, hopefully balanced by those from people who've actually bought the car or who, for cogent reasons, have decided that they prefer to own the BMW 130i or Audi A3-3.2.
So I thought I'd get in first.
Most owners will run their R32 as an everyday car, in fact 60% are buying the five-door version, so it must ...- Read zharca's review (787 words and 1 comment)
