“Good story line. A good use of controls with 'B'...”

Good story line. A good use of controls with 'B' button being the fire button.
Good fun. Good ideas and good use of the wii control systems.
I have a problem with the controls sometimes becoming unresponsive. Not sure if its the game or a bad disk.
Needs a multiplayer or online option too in my opinion.
Therefore do not recommend call of duty 3 for the nintendo wii.

“Call of Duty 3 for the Nintendo Wii is the first Wii...”

★★★★☆

Call of Duty 3 for the Nintendo Wii is the first Wii title to show off the new and much anticipated first-person shooter controls and EA delivered the goods with Call of Duty 3 for the Wii. The controls are amazing! To start, the B trigger is the fire button. The A button is to look down the barrel of your gun. The d-pad throws grenades, while the Z trigger allows you to crouch, military crawl, or stand. The nunchuck's joystick is for running, while the "Wiimote" aims and turns your character. The Wiimote is 110% accurate and percise; wherever you point your remote, the game will respond. Kudos to EA for the controls. Graphics...possibly the prettiest launch title on the Wii. The explosions look impressive. Don't expect Xbox 360 grpahics, however.

With that said, CoD3 on Wii does have it's problems...the A.I. is dumb. The computer will attempt to hide behind cover, but they charge stupidly quite a lot. Sometimes, the computer character will stare right at me and not fire. Also, the fact that there is no multiplayer whatsoever kills the replay value. After beating the game, your only incentive to play it again will be to play on a harder level of difficulty.

Overall, CoD 3 is a pretty game with nice and precise controls. Aside from the lack of A.I. and mulitplayer, this is one of the best launch titles for the Wii.

I enjoyed this game, but I would agree with the "bad points" about the Call of Duty 3 Nintendo Wii game too!
