not being a cup of soup fan. I was delighted to find the entire range of Ainsley's soups in the supermarket.

So far they have all been delicious although I am hesitating to try the mexican mixed peppers as it has a tomato base and I don't like tomato soup.

Find them difficult to mix in the cup but well worth the effort

Ainsley Harriott's spicy lentil soup is a reasonable soup - no more, no less. Personally, I found it a little bland, which was disappointing coming from a chef who is usually anything but. I may be slightly prejudiced though, as I must confess to not really being a lentil fan.

On a closing note, I strongly suggest that anyone passionate about not just soup, but tasty food in general, tries Ainsley's 'Scottish Chicken & Leek' soup from the same brand. This tasty concoction takes soup to excit ...

With the name of Ainsley Harriott attached to this product I was expecting a gourmet experience. This was not the case. The colour is like a semi-translucent vegetable soup with some strange green lumps in it (quite possible lentils, but barely distinguishable as such). The taste was bland and boring. Imagine you've had a great curry, and left all the washing up in the sink overnight. The tap has been dripping away on the soiled pots and pans all night, and in the morning (having removed the lum ...
