Overall the suzuki rg 125 is an awesome bike. The perfect bike for a 16 year old boy. Both economical and fun!

Had a 1988 Suzuki RG 125 GAMMA since I was 17(now 27!), 10 years of blowing away hot hatches like lads in RS turbos and the like. Have stripped and re-built it only three times in the last ten years and she's never let me down.
Definatly more fun than any bike I've ever thrashed below 400cc.

Upsets little goons with noisey "modded" cars which simply consist of a large exhaust back-box and shiny wheels, watch them laugh as you pull up next to em' at the lights, see GREEN and scream off at 12 gr ...

I've had this Suzuki RG 125 bike for a year now the bike fits in anywhere and I've noticed people on the big cc bikes dont look and laugh like they at most young lads on 125's gets you noticed wherever you go mines an ex-racer and is very fast for a 125. Takes a lot of looking after but mainly because of the age of the bike. Mines an 89 model also hard to find spare parts

Wouldn't part with it for anything paid 300 and I'm easily competing with local aprillia rs's & cagiva mitos.
Reaches 90 easily and continues to 100 maybe an arrow exhaust will make it do more?
Suzuki RG 125 wolf 1993 I own recomend it all.

Got the Suzuki RG gamma 1993 model 2 weeks ago and the guy said it wasn € t running and had been stud in his garden for a year when I put fresh petrol a new spark it fired up first time choke knackered though so I € ll fix that but other than the tatty look witch I € ll make better with some love and care went down the duel carriage way at easy 85 mph and its very quick of the mark.
best cheap bike ive ever had paid 100 pound for the bike and nothing on parts as of yet allthough it needs new clo ...

I've owned one of these (a 1989 Suzuki RG125 Gamma) for 7 years now. Although I should really sell it I can't because it's just such good fun. Easy to maintain (provided you can find spares these days) and shockingly fast. Most folks think it's a 400 from the way it goes.

I've owned a 1989 RG125 Gamma for 7 years now. I should really sell her but she's too much fun to ride.Mine came with an "Allspeed" exhaust pipe which is far better than the restrictive one Suzuki put on the bike originally to reduce 'em to 12Hp for learner use. She's done 90MPH 2-up for hours, laden with camping gear and pulls like bedamned in the power band. Folk think she's a 400 !A very good engine (Suzuki learned a great deal from Walter Kaaden), easily tuned by carburration. Only real prob ...
