The fantastic red leather holds you firmly and perfectly round those great bends, the growl of the precious v6 the feeling of it when it puts you back in your seat, the brilliant feeling doing 56 mph looking smug on the motorway, the sound system blasting in your ears the bass trembling down your spine the massive boot space for all the unwanted junk you have collected over the week. My Ford Mondeo ST220 3 Litres is excellent! Typically 27-31mpg. Cruise at 60-70 in summer and it gives 35-38 depending on trip length. Awesome take off in 3rd or 4th gear, motorway magic when in a big hurry. At 20k the tyres look good for perhaps another 10k (or more at the back).
Comp insurance for 60 year old full no claims less than £250 at Direct Line and several others.
Previously I owned a Mondeo 2.5 V6 Ghia X for 7 years. I have no qualms about keeping the ST220 that long, it is an... (read more)
