“Requiring a GP to fill out a referral form is not...”

We tried to use the service for our young son recently. We called the help line who said we needed to go back to the GP and get them to fill in a health online form just to initiate a referral to a specialist. It took an extra three days to achieve this and required significant time and coordination on our behalf. I switched to this company because my previous insurer was becoming expensive . I chose the NHS 6 week option too reduce costs. Big mistake. I thought I had taken out a policy which would cover the full cost of diagnosis and consultation and that if work couldnt be done in 6 weeks all costs would be paid.
