My operation was at the Chesterfield Hospital in Bristol. The Staff were helpfull and friendly and the accommodation was nice and clean. The food was good although I had to wait a long time for it sometimes. The consultant and anaesthetist were fine, but as this was not their preferred hospital the post operation visits were scarce. Instead the house doctor was from Bulgaria, whose duty rota was to be on duty 24/7 and then return to Bulgaria for a week. I found this a bit… Read Full Review

When you are feeling low and vulnerable you need a quick, caring and helpful response. When I turned to Help on line I hoped for this. Initial response was positive and reassuring and I was given a list of medical professionals I could contact. As I live in Cardiff it seemed ridiculous that one of the three options offered was a consultation in another city - 20 miles away! I cfound using health online very easy to do. They give you the right information and everything you need to do to put forward a claim or advice regarding the next steps. All my questions were answered the only thing which I think is not fair is that a follow up appointment to finish treatment should not be classed as a second consultation as I only have 2 per year, so classing a discharge consultation isnt very fair in essence it is really only one consultation a year !!! They make lots of mistake, they are slow at paying there bills leaving you with constant reminder bills from suppliers giving you extra pressure at times that you just do not need it. there attitude when claiming is always how they can get out of paying a claim rather than let me see what we can do to help you. I was sold this policy over the phone and was led to believe I was dealing directly with AXA who I had been directly insured with previously. What a difference between the two. Their administration is obviously in a mess, massive delays in dealing with claims, poor recording of details taken during phone calls, staff apologising for long backlogs, confusion over renewal dates suggesting customer records systems are inadequate.
