    Good Points: As a scratch player I currently play the Cleveland CG1 Black Pearl. I have hit the prototype iron set twice now and they are excellent clubs. Have great feel. Excellent distance. And seem to have a good center sweet spot. Unlike the CG1's which seem to need a slightly closer to hosel strike to get a pure shoot. Overall look of the iron from address was blade like and not an oversized look like the X-forged I played last season. I would be completely happy playing these clubs. I would still change out the shafts to my preferred shaft but that is completely personal preference. I will say that the Project X shafts on the proto-type where better match for these clubs then they were on the X-forged.


    Bad Points: I noticed the nine iron was heavier head feel then the other irons. This made the nine iron feel out of sync from the other clubs.


    General comments: I would definitely consider buying these irons. And at the current price there is no up charges for custom shaft or grip selections. A players clubs only for the ball striker. If you are expecting this club to make you a great player, forget that and go practice.
