“Do not use this company!”

I booked a weekend away (flights & hotel). My hotel was not booked when I got there. Worse still, Alpharooms told the hotel I hadn't paid! I phoned Alpharooms to get it sorted and was told that I had to phone their supplier myself (who is in Brazil!). Due to the time difference it would be 6am on a Sunday morning in Brazil - and I was checking out!! “TERRIBLE DO NOT BOOK !!!! ”

“No Hotel Booked”

Recently returned from a package holiday to Tenerife. Arrived at the airport to find my flights had been booked. Arrived in Tenerife to find my transfers had been booked. Arrived at the hotel to find there was no rooms booked and the Hotel had emailed Alpha Rooms 1 month before our departure to tell them that they had no rooms available. “AVOID, AVOID, AVOID Rooms not booked, no refund”

Decided to use having seen cashback offer on Halifax Bank website. This has proved to be a HUGE mistake. Have google mapped their offices since  Worth a look! “Last minute cancelled ”

Cancelled my holiday accommodation 1 week and 1 day before we were due to go .... said the accommodation had gone up in price or was no longer available .... they couldn't say which one !! “Do not book”

Not happy with alpha rooms as they informed us too late that the pool on our holiday would be closed off as they are having a refurb done. They were able to upgrade us to all inclusive plus which meant we could get a "pool view" from our hotel room, so a view of the pool we can't use for a week. They put me and my partner on hold for 2 hours as we wanted our money back as we didn't want to paid full price for a hotel which all the facilities were not in use. I placed a booking with Alpharooms on Thursday 02nd March 2017 to which payment has been taken in full entering a legal contract. After not receiving my booking number as promised within 24 hours nor any contact from Alpharooms to make me aware of any problems I contacted there office on Sunday 05th March 2017 promising a return phone call within an hour to which has been to no avail. “Wont Cancel Hotel Room (4th Request)”

Do not Book With This Company !! I booked with alpha rooms for a hotel only Aug 2017. We have had a change and need a hotel cancellation. I have an alpharoom account logged in and asked for a refund on 3 separate occasions,via my account and haven't had a response. I have since called them, they have now changed from UK Sheffield to an overseas contact centre. “Iawful customer service ruined our large family holiday ”

“Non return of money taken from my bank account”

However, booked for Benidorm ifor October 16 for 7 people back in April and paid at time of booking, received payment confirmation email. We get to Benidorm in October only to be told our room has been cancelled as we have not paid! We had to fork out again for a room we had already paid for! “Truly Appalling Customer Service”

Booked a studio room for 1/2 persons with pool view and balcony through alpha rooms. As we had stayed at the hotel before , I checked when I made the reservation regarding balcony , as the studios without are not suitable for my mother who is eighty. “cancellation fee charged despite no confirmation email...”

We booked an hotel for a week with Alpharooms. When no confirmation email was received we booked the same hotel with another site. Even though we had done this in good faith because we thought the Alpharooms booking had failed we have been charged a £50 cancellation fee. Very short sighted of them as we book a lot of holidays (and have used them a few times in the past) as we will now never use them again. Went to Memphis, USA and was very dubious arranging it on line myself and not through a local travel agent who had given me a price which was rather high. Booked hotel and flights on sat but noticed money hadn't gone out of account so rang this afternoon to chase to be told the flights were booked but not the hotel as it had gone up in price considerably.
