Good Points: Light, good turning, and very low kingpin.
Bad Points: Axel protectors fall off and is almost impossible to find, the upside kingpin has more flaws than advantages, and all the other negative things are related to the upside down kingpin.
General comments: I got these Silver Trucks 4.0 because of the really fancy advertisements that they put up. As soon as I saw the ad, I wanted a pair. That following month, I purchased a Mystery Deck (which was great, by the way) some good ol swiss bearings (excellent) and recta's (they're awesome). The Silvers were great within the period of 3-4 months. If you people are like me and use everything until it completely snaps or breaks, then prepare to be disappointed with Silvers. First I thought "Wow this upside down kingpin is nifty!" Then about 5 months later, my trucks started getting way too loose. This is because the upside down kingpin stripped at the bottom so it was impossible to repair. So I had to find old base-plates and just stick them together. Then the axel slipped so that sucked. So now I'm stuck at home writing this sad and unfortunate review and I am truck-less.
To all skaters out there who really actually skate and skate everyday (Bam doesn't count), Silvers are great for people who can afford new trucks every 3 to 4 months but not average everyday Joe's like us, and since I'm an Asian boy, it's worse because Asian parents expect a deck to last 5 years, no joke. Go ask your local "Chang Lee" if it's true. Bonjour amigos.
