This Taylor Chicago Standard Horn is the best I've ever played. It slots perfect. This horn almost forces you to play in tune. Valves (Bauerfeind) are superb and the finishing of this horn is incredible.
Andy really knows how to make a horn! Good points are Slotting / Intonation. Superb looks. Excellent valves and of course the sound!!! Nothing compares with this one!

I like the sound and response of those Taylor horns. But I wished one would play in tune, so i was forced to sell.

The Taylor Chicago Standard Large Bore in Raw Brass trumpet is marvellous. It is all you would hope a hand crafted horn to be. It has such a full sound. Don't buy this model if you play lead horn in a big band or do orchestral work, as it's sound is too dark. There are lighter and brighter models in Andy Taylor's range to do these jobs. This horn is exceptional for small ensemble jazz work, and it is unbeatable in the recording studio. The mechanics are fantastic and it is so easy to play.
