Cold called and initially wary of representitive, however their dubious methods of first contact, they were knowledgable and professional, I was called subsequently by someone from quality control to ensure I knew what I was purchasing. Phone arrived the following day within the time specified. Smooth switchover to 3 from Orange and am now enjoying a far superior network coverage and bills at less than half price with no cashback to claim. No more dropped calls and no more miles of dead network in the centre of Bristol. Would recommend.

I am very sceptical of cold callers so when I got a call from the mobile phone company I was suspicious however once the deal was explained to me it sounded appealing which then made me think what is the catch. The deal explained was 1125 mins and 150 texts plus a new phone that would be delivered the next day, I thought about it for a few days and decided that it sounded good and that I was just going to go for it, the phone arrived and I have had no problems what so ever the only inconvience t ...- Read Guest's review (123 words)

The Mobile Phone Company contacted my elderly father in January this year. He believed they were from his existing mobile phone provider Orange and he was arranging an upgrade for his handset and a further contract.
This was not the case, they were acting on behalf of 3-Mobile. 3 sent him a new phone (and contract)... He paid the bills for 6 months and didn't open the phone. My mother realised he was paying for 2 mobile phone bills when she was going through his bank statements.
Neither compa ...- Read Guest's review (104 words)

The Mobile Phone Company phoned me in February last year, whilst I was with Orange. They told me my contract was now due to expire and that they could save me money. However, my contract with Orange wasn't up - it still had 3 months to run. When I contacted TMPC to raise this they offered to pay to buy me out of the contract - but it just seemed shifty that they didn't offer this in the original conversation.
They offered me a 3 contract and, true to their word, the tariff was better for me. ...- Read Guest's review (280 words and 1 comment)

I had a phone call from the Mobile Phone Company in March 2009. I was on orange at the time on a really old tarriff of 200minutes for £30. My bills were £60 or so.
The person on the phone said they wanted to help me reduce my bills because of the credit crunch. He explained he wanted to move me to 3 because thats where the biggest savings were; he then picked me out a package for £21. In the end i got an 18 month contract from 3 for £21 with 700minutes or texts with ...- Read beardedhobo's review (251 words)

The Mobile Phone Company signed me up to a contact saying that I could keep my old number but of course when the phone arrives I find out that it's going to cost me £20. I then try to cancel the contract but the Mobile Phone Company tell me that I am outside the 7 day period and can't. This is because they made the contract on the day I spoke to them but they then had the phone delivered to my home (not my office as asked) and as I was not in, Royal Mail left a card which said that I woul ...- Read Stallard's review (181 words)

The Mobile Phone Company - I had a call from 3 netowork. They said that my contract with Orange was due for renewal. When the phone arrived it was from The Mobile Phone Company. When I contacted Orange, they said my contract was not due for renewal for 5 months and it would cost me £200 to leave Orange. Now told by mobile phone company the phone hasnt been received even though I sent it guaranteed delivery and that the return policy of 7 days is now out of date!- Read sally brown's review (87 words)

I received a phone call from the mobile phone company several weeks ago offering me a new handset, as i'm currently with orange i have usually dealt with mpc with my upgrade on orange so i was under the impression this was to be a renewal. As it turned out i was overpaying with orange and they offered me a new deal with network 3 which i was dubious about as i've been with orange for 8 years but thought well if i can save money give it a chance, the new handset arrived a 6500 and a new package ...- Read Guest's review (153 words)

I have had an awful time with the Mobile Phone Company. They called me and told me that I could have a new phone and only mentioned it was with 3 right at the end of the phone call. Then they sent me a phone and I called Orange to get a PAC number. Orange said I still had 6 months left of my contract. I sent the phone back to The Mobile Company but not within the time frame as I was out of the UK working. The Mobile Company since set up an account with 3, and I am dealing with debt collectors an ...- Read kmooney's review (160 words)

I had a call from someone claiming to be the Carphone Warehouse. They said that my contract with Orange was due for renewal. When the phone arrived it was from The Mobile Phone Company. When I contacted Orange, they said my contract was not due for renewal and it would cost me £180 to leave Orange. From looking around the Internet, this seems to be a common practice for the Mobile Phone Company. I wouldn't recommend they to anyone- Read Ian Price's review (78 words)

I found there approach very professional and well informed, they were clear with what they were selling and with the products on offer and if I was in any confusion with the details I received a quality assured call to reconfirm everything and another call once I had received my new phone to talk me through the porting process, very good service.
Overall a professional and competent service there was no miss selling or misdirection. Straight forward and precise service.- Read matkinson1108's review (149 words)

I was told that there was a 7 day cooling off period, but then, when I returned the phone to The Mobile Phone Company, which was rubbish, I was told it had been 'pre-activated' on leaving the factory. So the fact that I used the phone for 3 days wasn't enough. I am now in dispute with 3 over the contract, for which I have no phone or Sim card.- Read sfward's review (69 words)

I received a call from the Mobile Phone Company saying my contract with Orange was up for renewal. I questioned this but they said they knew this as they provided my last phone. They offered me a better deal with 3, better phone etc. so I decided to go ahead with them. The phone arrived the next day and as advised I phoned Orange to get my pac number. Orange said my contract was not up for another 5 months and it would cost me £70 to get this. I phoned MPC back and they didn't say muc ...- Read Guest's review (199 words)

I am an Orange customer and happy with their service and then The Mobile Phone Company contacted me. This is what happened:
Received a call from someone implying that they were from Orange offering me a new deal - 18 month contract, 800 minutes, 500 texts for £17.50. I agreed to contract. Phone arrived a few days later. The phone was a Nokia 6233 (OK) but on a Three network. They were not an Orange dealer at all.
I sent the phone back straight away, but a day later bill arrived. Lookin ...- Read sjhartland's review (246 words and 3 comments)
