“Don't waste your money!! Awful! ”

We spent over £1500 on 2 sofas from next, today we have had to have a technician come out to see if they can repair all the cushions that have completely split at the time. He said they all should have been double stitched and agreed that the quality was not good enough for the price. “service terrible”

My garda sofe was due last fri after taking a day off work it never showed up. After a number of calls I was eventually told furtniture lost in transit. I keep calling being told I would be called back and nothing. Went to next store they told me Sofa has been found but still no delivery date no calls went it will be delivered. Made a complaint and told Iit will be 7 days before they get back to me. Buy furniture elsewhere if you can to avoid being in this situation… Read Full Review

“Just Really Terrible stay Clear”

We ordered 3 Ledbury sofas and two Sherlock Opulent chairs at the beginning of February the expected delivery date was no later than the 14th April. since then we have written to us informing us that the delivery date has been delayed and the delivery date will be the following week. what they don’t mention is that this is the delivery date is when they get delivery, not when we the end user can expect delivery. its now the 7th May and they said they would have the sofas in today and guess… Read Full Review

“Ledbury sofa”

I saw the Ledbury sofa in my local NEXT home store and loved it so I decided to order the medium one. Ordering was easy and communication from NEXT regarding delivery was excellent. Sofa arrived and I was disappointed because it didn't seem to feel as comfortable as the one I had tried instore but I thought it would feel more comfortable as it got used. “bosworth sofa”

Purchased 2 of these sofas a large and a small which were both delivered to us in February this year (2015). Delivery man couldn't have been more helpful so have no complaints on that score. Really pleased with overall appearance of the sofas but these are the most uncomfortable sofas we have ever had, like sitting on a park bench. “Worst quality sofa! Avoid at all costs.”

My fiancé and I bought our first house together two years ago. Having searched for the perfect sofa for months we finally decided on the next Colorado sofa (now discontinued... “Worse Sofa I've ever had. Second One No Better!”

We purchased the Next Michigan LH facing corner sofa in December 2014 after saving up for a bit. After 2 months one of the back cushions had sagged. A technician came out and confirmed that it hadn't been filled properly so re filled it. After a few months most of the back cushions had again sagged. 2nd technician visit. “Poor endurance”

We have a Sonoma sofa in our kitchen which gets occasional use.It is 18 months old and is ready for replacement. Daily we have a shedding of feathers from the cushions which are looking decidedly depleted.This happens when it hasn't been sat on. After reading these reviews I was a bit skeptical about purchasing our sofas from Next, however there seem to have been no problems with the Stratus range. After ordering in September we were given a 16 week wait, which personally I think is ridiculous for a custom made sofa. I wish I had read some of these reviews before purchasing from NEXT. We ordered a Walton Sofa and Armchair which were estimated for 8 weeks delivery which ended up being over twice that length. I had to chase for an update and was promised a discount and a call back with an update - neither of which occurred. Then out of the blue I got a call to arrange delivery. We ordered our sofas so we would receive it for a Christmas delivery as we have the family up, and the delivery was late November as specified. When it arrived one of the sofas was a completely different style and leather type! Read bad reviews previously but the service has been fantastic! Sofa was ready within 5 weeks of ordering (earlier than they said, great) Sofa is of good quality and the fabric is lovely, from start to finish the service has been good from ordering in store to text messages of delivery with set times which is so good for us full time workers! Delivery men were really nice, carefully brought them in and unwrapped them taking away the rubbish within 5 mins. Definately recommend them… Read Full Review

“You could not make it up”

Next is a company in chaos - beware! Placed order and fully paid in August for a sofa, a chair and a Michigan sofa bed. Delivery arranged on a Thursday early October. Sofa and chair delivered fine by polite helpful team. We like these items. Sofa bed obviously not the right colour, so did not even get it off the lorry. Ordered a new chair and choose a fabric that meant the chair would be avaliable in 4 days. Waited all day for delivery, they were late, only for the truck to turn up and advise they didn't have our order on board only the feet. They hadn't even realised, till they went to get chair out of the truck. No explanation just it won't be delievered today.
